My wife and I watched ANH:R last night, and it was amazing! We can't wait for the rest. Of course, we also can't wait for the AVCHD version you're working on... Too many projects! How do you do it!? So, what's the expected wait for the other AVCHD movies? Weeks? Months? I know ESB:R is a year or more away. I also know it will be well worth the wait.

Never burned an avchd.iso before--should I be bothered with layer break position?
However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

Use Imgburn to burn the iso. it will set the layer break for you

I just wanted to say "Thank You Ady!!". This is a great version of the movie. The closest we will get to a true HD version w/ proper coloring. I would assume LFL will put out a Blu-ray version based off of the 2004 DVDs master and will still have the blue tint and wrong light saber colors. It looks pretty good......at that high of resolution you can really see the imperfections in the costumes and makeup jobs:). Vader's mask is horid and R2's dome...well you can see the paint strokes. I like it:)
I do still prefer watching Revisited upconverted though:)

FWIW I'm running ImgBurn on a Linux laptop, using WINE.
Wouldn't be surprised to learn OSX could do similar, but I've no direct experience.
Still waiting for .RAR's to download, although I was able to extract the .MDS file and open with ImgBurn.
Looks like the layer break is right smack dab in the middle. Both layers exactly the same size.
I wonder if that corresponds to a cell boundary, or if there even exists such a thing in the BD-authoring world....

alt.binaries.starwars is the address to a newsgroup on Usenet. Most ISP's have free USNET access, although usually they are very slow and capped off compared to your regular line speed....so most people choose to pay for faster access...ie. "giganews"...there are others...
You also need a newsgroup reader to access the paid server and download the files...I use Newsbin.

I read that and thought 'yeah, my ISP's idea of storage space for its users is to tell the to go to Geocities...', so the thought of free usenet was a bit of a laugh. I looked it up and apparently, they ended access to usenet on December 15, 2005! Haha. And it seems only 3% of customers used it. I wonder what that number would be now.

I'll join you as a seed. I was putting a torrent together when I saw this. However, I also have crap upload speed.
**EDIT** And now the real reason I checked back in this thread... For what it's worth, ImgBurn didn't give a good copy of the disc for this. I am the proud owner of a fairly expensive coaster. Nero6 seems to have worked fine, though.
