Okay, everybody calm down. It may be tough. But let's try to keep it civil.

Alexander?!?!?

why you would even want to review that awful piece of crap that Stone made

It doesn't mean he's gonna give it a good review. All reviewers have to keep that quality/crap balance going. Besides, there is nothing more fun for a reviewer than ripping apart a piece of crap movie. I know. I, too, am a reviewer.

Besides, Rosario Dawson gets top nekkid in this one. That alone is worth it.

I love ripping apart bad movies. Sidekicks was a fun one to tear apart.

I'M GOING TO MAKE THIS REALLY SIMPLE THIS WEEK. ALEXANDER WASTED MY TIME, SO I'M NOT GOING TO WASTE MUCH TIME WITH A REVIEW OF IT. SIMPLY PUT, DON'T BUY IT !!! THE 2-DISC DVD SET HAS SOME REALLY NICE BONUS FEATURES, BUT WHY WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN AWFUL MOVIE. I KNOW THAT I'VE SAID THAT I WOULDN'T THROW IN MY PERSONAL FEELINGS INTO MY REVIEWS, BUT THIS TIME IT MUST BE DONE.

ALEXANDER = A RENTAL AT BEST, BUT SHOULD REALLY BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS

HERE'S ANOTHER QUICK REVIEW THAT I HAVE FOR GUESS WHO. THE DVD HAD A FEW SPECIAL FEATURES WHICH WERE JUST AS ENJOYABLE AS THE MOVIE ITSELF. IF YOU'VE SEEN MEET THE PARENTS OR GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER WHICH IS WHAT THIS MOVIE IS A REMAKE OF THEN YOU'VE PRETTY MUCH SEEN THIS MOVIE. HOWEVER, THIS VERSION OF THE MANY TIMES DONE STORY IS GREAT. I HAVE TO RECOMMEND THIS DVD. SO, WITH OUT ANYMORE DELAY...

GUESS WHO = A BUY

Dayv, judging by your Steamboy review, you seem to be somewhat excited about Advent Children... By any chance...
1. Are you going to get a copy early, and
2. Do you know if there are any plans for a US limited edition to be released? Right now in Japan they have a set that comes with:
-The movie
-Cloud and Fenrir statue
-FFVII International
-A shirt, keychain, and hat
-An exclusive DVD with an animated OVA, among other things.

Basically, I want to know if I should import it or wait for something similar in the US.

Thanks,
-Alex

If I were you, I'd order the Japanese set. For years I've waited around for American releases of foreign films only to be dissapointed about the overall product(the Richard Sharpe series comes to mind).

Either way, the film is not going to come with all of the cool pack-ins that the Japanese have.

I AGREE WITH SESSLER. I DO HAVE A COPY OF THE SOUNDTRACK COMING IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DVD, BUT SO FAR I DON'T HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON IT.
