Um… I got the Target one. I don’t really like the packaging. I hope the extra interviews make up for it.

Oh, crap. I’m in the wrong thread. This is about titles. Oops.

There is no lingerie in space…

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

I agree. I didn’t understand why the special version would come in a paper case with the thickness of a greeting card.

Because it’s different enough for people to pay $5 extra for it/even be conned into buying multiple copies of the movie yet costs practically nothing to produce.

I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

Amazing that there isn’t any “gimmick” packaging like a BB-8 case or even the Falcon. Target has done that sort of thing before.

I saw the UK edition in the supermarket yesterday. Loaded up on two pallets either side of the entrance… I think they are intending to sell a few copies!

Very glad I imported the US Blu-Ray, it only cost a few pounds more and is much nicer. The UK BR is very standard with the normal blue case. The US one is in a nifty black case which really shows off the poster art, plus a slip case with sparkly gold embossed bits and twinkling star field. It also comes with a DVD copy and itunes digital HD copy (Not that I really care about those) which the UK one does not.

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

I was going to get the target version because I thought the design on the cover was better and because of the extra content, but then when I saw it in the store and saw the flimsy trading card quality packaging, I bought the standard version instead. A few extra minutes of bonus material is not worth sacrificing decent quality packaging.

Hi, Frinky. Looking sexy as always. In fact, you look like some poster that I used to know…

I don’t understand why the DVD is packed with Blu-Ray and sold in one box.

If you don’t have Blu-ray player, the Blu-ray is useless to you, because you can’t play it.
And if you do have Blu-ray player, the DVD is useless to you, because why would you want to watch the movie in worse quality?

Some cars have DVD players. AFAIK none have Blu players. So the answer to your question is road trips.

Also:
-I’ll let my kids handle the DVDs.
-I use the DVDs in my edits.

It’s the same reason a lot of vinyl reissues include an mp3 download of the album as well. It just gives you an alternative for whatever situation that may require the use of the other medium.

Also, if you’re ever in need of an improvised shuriken, you won’t have to totally sacrifice a beloved movie in order to obtain one.

Blu-ray players are indeed making their way into cars now, perhaps for the past few years. Though it is true that most cars on the road today only play DVDs.

You can also eat the DVD if you get hungry during the movie, and you won’t have to leave the room.

You can also use the DVD as a beer coaster.
