I am looking into purchasing an affordable high end projector for my laserdisc machine for home use. I welcome knowledgeable suggestions.

If you want decent blacks, then look at the current model JVC projectors, they deliver the best black levels out there. The new Sony 4K projectors come close, but are narly double the price.
