With the advent of Street FIghter IV's release I was looking around for this and, I, too, have no luck. I even tried emailing drgonzo369 about a week ago with no response. Does it still exist anywhere?

This looks very, VERY interesting to me as well...
Can anyone perhaps PM me some working links?

So here we are however many years later. I finally re-aquired disc one (the only one I ever made so far, sorry). If anyone would like a copy, let me know and I can mail a DVD (can't torrent or anything at the moment).
First couple of posts on page 1 updated as well.
Love this film wonder if it will ever get a BD release in Japan.
The only anamorphic version i have heard of was i think from madman in Australia now out of print, plus it was in PAL format.
The US remastered version is laughingly non anamorphic but so is the Japanese DVD.
A fully uncut version with both soundtracks the Japanese and US one and the dub is highly unlikely to ever happen on BD. But a BD with just the japan soundtrack and no subs is something i would willingly pay 90 bucks for.
Marioxb version was great for its time being Standard Def and non restored. I still have the DVD.
“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
I could probably re-do it in anamorphic, but I probably won't have a computer good enough to do an HD version.
Call me weird, I know, but personally, I like seeing the black bars on the top and bottom while watching movies on my widescreen TV. I have my DVD player (sorry no blu ray yet, not even PS3) set to show the black bars for all ws movies. Just feels more cinematic that way.
The movie was released uncut on Blu Ray in the UK with the original Japanese dialog:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Street-Fighter-II-Movie-Blu-ray/dp/B00BFDXY2W
note on the uncut statement of the blu-ray
video: uncut & uncensored = yes
video: english or japanese on screen text? japanese only
japanese audio: uncut & uncensored = yes
english audio: uncut & uncensored = no
the english audio is the pg-13 version. the uncut/uncensored audio can be found on the u.s. dvd. i have it, but still hadn't found time to sync the audio to the bd.

Sounds exactly like the "Uncut, Unleashed, Uncensored" DVD that I partly based this edit on (some of the menus anyway), and the reason I made this in the first place.
My DVD:
video: uncut & uncensored = yes
video: english or japanese on screen text? English dub or Japanese translated to English
japanese/ english/ japanese voices+ english music selectable audio: uncut & uncensored = yes
The only official release of this movie that you can watch with the 100% uncut & uncensored japanese video and the 100% uncut & uncensored english audio at the same time on one disc is the Australian Madman dvd. I recently bought it on Ebay and there is a dvd rip of it on the pirate bay as well if you search for "street fighter madman". If somebody can somehow use the audio of this dvd and combine it with the 1080p video of the recent blu-ray release that would be amazing!
Does the Madman PAL release use speedup or frame blending to convert the framerate? If I could get the DVD rip, it wouldn't be hard to sync the english audio to the blu-ray.
I don't know, I'm really not technical but you can find the dvd rip here:
