I smell crap. But to be fair I am fighting a bit of a cold and my sense of smell isn't at its best.

Come on... anyone who's played the Soul Calibur seris should be at least a little optimistic. I mean, Link turned out fine on the GameCube... right?

I have never played Soul Calibur, but I have yet to hear anything bad about it. Maybe this will be okay, I guess I am just burnt out on generic Star Wars games that emulates or is a mod of every other popular game out there. We saw far too much of that crap during the PSX era and the last few years on the PC. But I am still waiting for and looking forward to Grand Theft Speeder: Tantooine.

The whole hovering Yoda fighting with his tiny little green lightsaber is something that has always brought me sudders every since the release of a certian film in 2002. So I can't say those picture excite me.

Okay, I finally got unlazy enough to read the article. It is just Yoda and Vader showing up as guest characters on Soul Calibur IV. So it isn't really even a SW game. All it is really is LFL playing the pimp and whoring out some of its properties. I guess it was kind of a cool gimmick with Soul Calibur III when they put a different bonus character in the game for each console. And as much out of place as a character like the Spawn might have been in such a game, Vader and Yoda are incredibly out of place. Kind of reminds me of Toy Story where the kid would have his space marine doll fighting an evil Mr. Potato head. It is like a kid is taking his Star Wars toys and piting them against characters from an entirely different series of toys. But hey, those marketing guys really know their stuff. Just think of all the SW fans who are going to be dishing out money for a game they would not have otherwise.

My mistake, but everything else I said still stands.

As cool as it sounds, realize that Vader only shows up on the PS3 version, and Yoda only appears on the XBox version. There will be no Jedi vs. Sith match-up.

Wow, so you couldn't even call if a SW fighting game by a long shot.

I've played the Arcade Version of Soul Calibur 1 and 2 my favorite characters were Nightmare and Kilik I like the second because of the Bo staff. Nightmare was just an awesome character to play as well.
