I've never understood why Amazon combines reviews. It is totally asinine. I can't count how many times I've gone to Amazon to read some reviews on a particular "special edition" dvd just to see them all mixed in with the old dvd version so you can't possibly read about the actual item you're going to buy. Absolutely ridiculous.
Baronlando is right - if everybody always takes the attitude of "oh well, there's nothing we can do about it", then nothing will ever be improved upon. If nobody ever speaks out and complains when they are unhappy, companies will take advantage and try to get away with more and more (or less and less).
Katie Lucas (daughter) tweeted today:
"I helped pick out the box art for the BluRay set!"
"The haters will always hate, and in the end, they will buy the BluRay."
It's attitudes like this that are the problem. "Well, it doesn't matter how crappy our set will be because the haters will hate but then they'll buy it anyways".
Well, I am not a hater, but I can say I'm pretty confident that I will not be buying this set anyways, not until it's in the Wal-mart $5.00 bin.
And their big video reveal was laughably bad. Adywan's latest trailer for E:Revisited blows it away. Hell, I've seen many home-made fan trailers on youtube that blows this away.
