As with the other released footage, the Magenta blades are now lighter Magenta/Pink, the Magenta X-Wing engines are now lighter Magenta too.
These disk are blu and Blue.
You're struggling with the usage of "advance." ;-)

Why would one of the inner sleeves have a painting of Boba Fett riding what looks like that lizard Obi Wan used in Episode III? Unless...

Where were you in '77?
Am I the only person who likes the Complete Saga artwork? While I'd like it to be more OT centric, it echoes the Episode 1 teaser poster while also reminding me of the iconic binary sunset.
The OT box art is ass though.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
I honestly don't think that a painting of Boba Fett riding the lizard from ROTS implies anything about a Holiday Special Easter Egg. Yes, Boba Fett rode a dinosaur thing in the Special, but that's just... It doesn't imply anything.
Apparently, that painting has been around a while...

Either Lucasfilm is recycling existing art, or somebody is pulling a prank here.

Yep its been out there for a bit, it's in the Star Wars: Visions book.

Sad part is, I don't know which is more likely.
I so want this to be true.
The irony of George giving disc space to any part of The Holiday Special (even if it is the bit that most people who have seen it rather liked) disowned as it was, by Lucas from the moment it hit the air, when he won't include the actual films that made Star Wars famous would be so delicious it should get a roundel from Egon Ronay.
If it is true what are the odds that Boba Fett will speak with Temuerra Morrison's voice?
The fact that WEIRD AL videos are in the set and the originals aren't is already more ricockulous than including the holiday special could ever be.
The difference is that George hasn't been vocally distancing himself from Weird Al for decades.
If anything George seems to have warmed to the spoofs (especially if he can turn a coin from them).

First I've heard of this. And when did Al make a video to the Yoda song?
Have the other included spoofs been revealed yet?

I don't think he ever did a video for Yoda but he did do one for his other Star Wars song the Saga Begins.

As far as I know he didn't but he famously did do this one.
Jinks you owe me a coke! =P
How's that for simultaneous linkage?
:-D
I knew about The Saga Begins, but have never seen anything but fan made videos for Yoda.
Is there some other Weird Al SW song I don't know about?
Where were you in '77?
People often misattribute this to Weird Al but it is Richard Cheese.
New video posted on the official Star Wars site showing a behind the scenes look at the X-Wing and then large section of video of the fighters approaching the death Star in EPIV. . It does look like there has been some tinkering with the colour as the cyan tint seems to have gone and it seems lighter, but those damn pink/ magenta engines just make me cringe ( a bloody SE change so they would match the bodged CG shots) instead of red and the crushed blacks are still the same.. Now you can guarantee that there will still be some who say that this clip isn't what we are going to get on the Blu-Ray, well why the hell would they post an old video to promote the blu-ray so close to the release date? Not only that, if you listen to the soundtrack, that IS NOT THE 2004 MIX
That's just f*cking sad. They're talking about building the models and the first shot we see from the movie is the CG x-wings from the SE. And the footage they're using is indeed unmistakeably the 04 transfer.
