Since when this thread on this website is about the exclusion of the OOT? I thought, as the title indicates, it was about the Blu-ray boxset.
In the future, I suggest actually reading the post to which you're responding. The very first sentence of my post you quoted says: "But this thread is about the upcoming Star Wars BluRay release." I nowhere asserted that this thread is "about the exclusion of the OOT," that phraseology originates with you. My point was that this thread is about the upcoming bluray boxset, the most recent news confirms that the OOT will not be on that boxset, and this website was formed for the express purpose of lobbying for the commercial release of the OOT. Therefore, it's reasonable to expect that members of this site will be discussing the OOT's exclusion from the upcoming boxset, given that the release of said upcoming boxset it what this thread is about.
Just found out? It was announced from the start.
"Just had confirmed to us," then, if you prefer. Given LFL's hype about how "all would be revealed" about the BR set on May 4th, the fact that May 4th confirmed what we had long suspected to be the case is worthy of discussion.
what else do you expect us to talk about in a thread dedicated to the discussion of the BluRay release?
Maybe discuss the actual Blu-ray release.
That's what we're doing. Discussion of the exclusion of an item that won't be on the boxset but should be, is just as much a discussion of the boxset itself as any discussion of what will be on it. Why is that so difficult for you to grasp? Presumably, we would be discussing what will be included in the BR release if any of it was worth talking about in the first place. The transfers of the movies themselves have already been discussed at length, actual documentary offerings are pretty paltry (and that's been discussed at length), and inclusion of a ninety-one minute compilation of pop-culture spoofs of Star Wars when the actual original Star Wars movies aren't even included in the set, is so asinine that it requires no commentary.
