Star Wars albums - Does anybody know?

Hi all! I was wondering if any of you could help me with this: When I was a kid, (about nine or so, it seemed to me it was around the time Empire was released) my Mother took me shopping at the local Kmart. I found in the albums bin (yes, I know I am dating myself) a SW album that showed an artist-drawn picture of Luke against a blue background leaning out of the door of what looked like a snowspeeder. Luke had his saber (the blue one) and was cutting away at what looked like some kind of cable or connector. The impression was was that he was trying to make some kind of escape.

This appeared to be some kind of original SW adventure narrated by actors/actresses, and the tag line was, “Without funds, the Rebel Alliance cannot survive. So Luke and Princess Leia embark on a dangerous heist of Imperial Funds,” Amazingly, I still remember that this is the exact way it was worded!

Does ANYBODY know what is? Has ANYBODY ever seen this album but me,  I KNOW that I really saw it, does anybody have any information on what this album was, and how I might get a copy of it?

I've got one of those in my collection at my mom's. I believe it has the bounty hunter that makes Han (try to) leave the Alliance in ESB.

He's one of the bounty hunters that Han encounters on Ord Mantell. =P In official canon the honor falls upon Skorr who was actually the very first bounty hunter offered up as explanation for Han's line is ESB. That was in The Bounty Hunter of Ord Mantell.

This record was the second explanation and was actually written by Brian Daley the writer behind the radio dramas. When asked why he covered something that had already been explained he revealed he had no idea it had already been done and admitted he wouldn't have had he known. You can actually listen to the entire record here.

That all said, I have my own personal theory about who the bounty hunter was. I like to think it was a close encounter with Boba Fett that ended in the disintegration of a rebel operative. Perhaps the operative sacrificed himself by taking a shot meant for Luke. But since the canon has taken an official stance I'm glad it was Skorr who won out.

I think I have that around someplace- it belonged to my nephew and I rescued it from being sold at a garage sale (along with a couple of ESB and ROTJ lunch boxes).

I always liked the cover art on that record.

I don't know why they chose to go with Skorr as the bounty hunter Han refers to in TESB. Han's comment seems to imply that the encounter with this mysterious bounty hunter took place fairly recently, yet The Bounty Hunter of Ord Mantell takes place three years prior to that point. I just don't see Han stewing over something like that for so long before finally deciding to do something about it.

Regardless of when it happened, I always thought it was an unusual excuse for Han to use to leave the Alliance.  Sure, you've got gangsters trying to collect a debt on you... but now you're in the military.  If the bounty hunters want you, they have to fight through the Rebels first.

I get that he ran into a bounty hunter while on a mission, but any mission he goes on for the Rebels is inherently dangerous anyway, because of the risk of encountering Imperials.

Besides, he should also be worried that Darth Vader would be hunting him just as fiercely as the Hutts, since he helped blow up the Death Star.

Rieekan says, "a death mark's not an easy thing to live with."  But as resistance fighters, all Rebels are essentially marked for death.

Does that make sense?

Anyone remember different camera angles from ROTJ?
