Wow some really cool ideas Anakin, I like the idea of having Dooku present in TPM and I love keeping the planets victory celebration for TROS.
Maybe change the new republic’s Capital to cristophsis? Another option might be to replace Crait with Christophsis by recoloring the red ground and crystals and maybe adding a city skyline to the horizon in one or two shots.

Crait is remaining as Crait. It’s already visually distinct. I hadn’t considered replacing Hosnian Prime, but I don’t think it’s necessary, as I’ll probably just make it a part of Coruscant.
How do you plan on changing climaxes in rotj and tros in coruscant?
Idk. It’s a real stretch goal that would require a lot of technical wizardry. The sets themselves would be unaltered, but the windows in the RotJ throne room would need an atmosphere and coruscant traffic, and establishing shots would need to be completely replaced. I have toyed around with making Rey walk through the raised corridors of the Jedi Temple on her way down. I’d need many shots of her making the journey, honestly.
And that doesn’t even cover what to do with the ground and space battles in both films. What is the shield protecting if there’s no Death Star? Are the star destroyers stashed on the most populous planet in the Galaxy? Maybe if I remove the planet killers underneath, I can have the threat just be the hidden fleet emerging from hyperspace to lay siege to Coruscant. The battle would take place in the upper atmosphere to minimise background replacements.
The exogol regrade looks pretty good. I like the Teth idea but sometimes the color bleeds into Rey. How are you gonna keep Ben alive for the ending?
Well as it stands I cut the Tatooine scene because I’m cutting to credits on the celebration, due to the music, and it’d be really awkward fitting Tatooine between Exegol and the celebration. So I suppose that would mean just having one shot of Ben on Teth. I might add Tatooine as a mid-credits scene or something, as I don’t really have anything wrong with it. In fact I already have an idea for a rescore for it. Mid-credits is the only way I can think of to make cutting to credits twice work. The alternative is to do like the canon cut does and cut from the celebration to Tatooine. However, Victory Celebration really sounds like it’s meant to lead into the end credits.

Yeah, there are also some noticeable patches of green in the first few shot backgrounds. So if your intention is to not have the foliage be multi-toned, that’ll have to be tweaked, obviously. But I really like the effect in general and think it does exactly what you’re hoping for.

Concerning the Teth regraded, there was an exchange on Discord and Act on Instinct appears to have come up with a grade that doesn’t noticeably bleed while still appearing distinctly purple, if perhaps a little less so. The clip I had wasn’t meant as final. The lightsaber color is clearly off, for example, and Rey has purple eyes. Hopefully this new grade fixes that, although I don’t mind doing a few quick manual fixes if need be.
Oh and it’s probably worth noting the cave will mostly have green plants. They’re to hard to change the color of, so I’ll just paint a few symbolically in EbSynth and call it a day.
I’ve added a link in the first post to my more detailed changelist. The list actually dates back to a week or tow before TFA came out, although of course it’s undergone many changes over the years.
Here’s a first pass for the Falcon arriving early in TRoS. It looks pretty good to me, but the color grading might need some fine tuning, and it’d be nice if I could make the ship slow down as it approaches.
I have 2 questions: 1) Why is it called the Purple Planet Saga? 2) Why are you starting with the Sequels first or do you have footage from the other 6 movies?

I needed a distinctive name, and probably the most immediately apparent change is that I’ve made Ajan Kloss into Teth by turning the plants purple.
I have also been working on the Prequels, it’s just the changes haven’t been radical enough to warrant uploading clips of. So far it’s mainly consisted of cutting stuff out. Vast swathes of RotS have been removed, the Chosen Prophecy is entirely gone, Leia being a Skywalker has been eliminated from the entire Saga, Anakin being a creep and ranting in AotC is all gone, Padme is no longer the Queen, etc… I’ve lightly touched upon the Originals but nothing radical yet, in no small part because I don’t have anything radical in mind for ANH or TESB. RotJ will hopefully get a major makeover and I’ve started that with things like eliminating the talk with Obi-Wan’s ghost and reinstating Yub Nub (but with the Christensen ghost). There’s more details in my the changelist document. Anything crossed out has been fully implemented.
Yeah, I saw the list. You have some really good ideas, but some don’t sit with me well. I’ll check this edit out and thanks for answering my questions.

If you’re doing Yub Nub in Episode VI, you should use Sebastian Shaw. Hayden would completely feel out of place using the original ending.
Also, you can ask HAL for the audio for “A Jedi Master who instructed me” in Empire, and “I wanted you to have this” in SW77.
Christensen’s ghost is staying and that is non-negotiable. The only thing I’d be open to is replacing those particular shots with a different version without the creepy staring, but I don’t care enough to make such a thing myself, so unless someone else makes it, it’s not happening. Old man Shaw never existed in-universe so having him show up is just absurd. For him to be played by Shaw he’d have to still be scarred and bald at the very least.
As for HAL, that must be where I got the idea from. I’ll write that down for now.
I think that Adywan’s ESB Revisited Emperor scene should be included. It doesn’t reveal anything too early, and has Ian McDiarmid.
Is it not already on the list? It’s definitely supposed to be. I’m still waiting on an HD version.
