Opened May 5th at County Hall, Westminster, London

Adult tickets cost £16:50!!! - that's a lot of ca$h for an exhibition...
Family tix (2 adults 2 children) = £50
Children = £12.50

it's supposedly running until Sept. but i personally won't be going unless they drop the price! (or bundle in a screening of the Original theatrical-release Star Wars )

I was going to make the effort to visit this exhibition seeing as it's the 30th anniversary, but I had no idea it was as much that! As you say £16.50 is a lot of money for an exhibition, I'll just have to make do with London MCM Expo and Celebration Europe over the next couple of months, that is unless they drop the price of admission. In all honesty you've got more chance of George Lucas releasing the OUT on dual format Blu-Ray/HD-DVD with the Holiday Special on the bonus disc, then again maybe not

I'll be in London for a bit before September, and it would have been interesting to see. But with those prices... I'll have my wife with me too and wouldn't very well be able to leave her behind, so I would have to pay a whoppin £33. Not a chance. There must be some really dedicated fans to drop that much, for £16.50 you can buy a lot of action figures and Jar Jar tongue lollipops.

My fellow STAR WARS AFICIONADO buddy, Ian, and I attended the opening day of the exhibition and I have to say that it was nowhere near as good as it was when it was at the Science Museum in Paris. It may have been a large venue to place the exhibits in but it didn't seem all that well planned out and the visual displays and interactive areas that were so good in Paris just weren't evident this time around. The stuffy historical design bureacracy of the building particularly drowned the various paintings and storyboards on display. Additionally, not all of the previous exhibits were at the London event-presumably these missing ones are soon to appear at CELEBRATION IV?

It was also seriously over-priced-the Paris exhibition was half the cost and much better. I don't know if I'd want to spend £16.50 again on it-thats quite a chunk of dough for me these days!!

So, sorry to report what could have been superb was merely just average-and there wasn't even any great exclusive Exhibition merchandise for people to buy!!
