Star Wars Soundtrack for Episode IV - VI CD

In 1983, Star Wars and Return of the Jedi soundtracks were released on CD. There was a German release distributed by RSO of Star Wars and Return of the Jedi with a red disc (Red Label). However, The Empire Strikes Back has no Red Disc. I may be mistaken but does anyone know if there is one? As I’m collecting the Red Labels soundtracks for Star Wars.

I am fond with anything thats got to do with Star Wars. But, I have particular interest in TPM home video releases. I also interest in Red label soundtracks on CD for the OT.

Discogs may be of some in finding if there was a release for a ‘Red Label’ soundtrack of Empire Strikes Back back in '83:-

and also hopefully give an indication of what artwork was used for it.

Are you sure it would have been a CD release back in 1983 though mate?

Good luck with it man 😃

I find that answer vague and unconvincing. Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here? And say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Thanks mate. So instead of releasing The Empire Strikes Back with Star Wars and Return of the Jedi in 1983, RSO decided to release it 3 years after. Meaning Germany may have stopped with their unique Red Label discs and went back to a standard disc. So, I guess there is no Red Label for The Empire Strikes Back:(.
