Anxious, Asteroid. =)
Let me add... I really want you to succeed with this. I want you to knock this out of the park.
Got quiet here.

How about these ones: (just right click>"view image" to see them full size)
These publicity shots have highlighted something I really haven't paid much attention to before.
Darth's Sith knickers... It's a bizarre bit of design going on down there which in the films I never really notice (could it be because for these shots the suits weren't put on with as much care as they would be for an actual film shoot?).
How's it coming, A-man?
Sorry, it took me a looooooong time to get my hands on a copy of Vegas Pro 9. Ady it was indeed the edition, as now I have been able to successfully customize the properties of the video. The final render is currently taking place. Once this is done I can re-format my computer (regaining a LOT of speed) and then I can work on the menu!

Sounds good. Keep us posted.
It finally worked!!! I just watched through it. To be completely honest, there were a few audio transitions that kind of stood out (like when I took out little snippets are stupid content from AOTC. It's not cringe-worthy though. Not as noticeable as the audio transition from ANH:R's new duel sequence (by the way, I was able to patch THAT)). In terms of video, there were two parts (a flashback to TPM and Anakin and Obi-Wan outside of club) where one or two random frames appear. I couldn't fix these because they were caused by poor framerate conversion from 23.976 to 29.7 on the original AOTC and TPM DVD's. When DVDFab or GordianKnot tried to remove the pulldown it resulted in some a bunch of frames being thrown around. I patched all the other mismatched frames that I could find from the workprint (the HQ one) and missed the AOTC one due to the fact that the video in that scene went completely black to begin with and I hadn't included TPM yet. I'd say it's good to go. Things left to do:
Reformat my computer to regain speed
New Poster
Complete the Trailer
Update the site
Start on the DVD
Web-Spots
Special Features: Trailer and Spots, ESB:R Trailer, Poster Gallery
Deleted Scene: Star Wars: Reborn Opening
POSSIBLY Language and Audio Menu: Subtitles (English and MAYBE French) - I need to learn how to make Subtitles first also a Commentary Track - I might just release this later if people want it.

Not sure I could release something that had screwed up frames... Just sayin'.
However, that being said, I'm still looking forward to giving this a look. Hope to see it soon.

I couldn't agree with this statement more, you might want to correct that before you move on,and I am pretty sure others here will feel the same way, this would just take away from the whole thing, but you should already feel this way yourself without us saying anything about it.
It's two frames. Again both are beyond repair. The AOTC one flashes back from Anakin and Obi-Wan too quickly, and the TPM one can't be fixed. Something happened when I ripped it or converted it and everytime I cut that frame out, the net frame would just be replaced with the extra frame. Unfortunately I can't fix it. You'll have to make do with it. Remember that this isn't an obligation, this is something I'm doing in my spare time and 1 frame isn't worth another 14hrs of rendering.

I'm going to have to say I'm with DJ and others on this. Fourteen hours is an inconsequential amount of time compared to the time people will, it is to be hoped, spend downloading and enjoying this. It is ultimately your decision, of course, and no one should challenge that, but it seems a shame to have come this far and not do everything you can to perfect this. I think you would feel better in the long run if you managed to sort this out before release.
Yes by all means do what you want, but couldn't you just remove the frames?
Have to agree with what others have said. 14 hours rendering is nothing in the grand scheme of things...
If you are too tired to remove correct the dodgy frames and do a re-render (understandable considering the amount of time you have spent on this).
I'm sure there are people on here who would do it for you if you instructed them where the offending moments are and they had access to the same rendering software you are using.
It is better to release something you can take pride in than something that has a couple of annoying blips in.
Alright I'll fix it. I dunno if I can fix the AOTC one but I can fix the TPM one. Also, the bits of audio transitions that are not seamless can't be fixed. I did what I could with them and now the audio won't load properly in the newer version of Sony Vegas. This isn't as noticeable as the random frames, the music transition is simply a fade out to a cut (which was the best I could do) instead of two cuts (which would have made it worse).

Ok guys I fixed the frames and fixed what I could with the AOTC transition (There's a slight offset in the audio/video transition though. It seems to work, funny enough it gives it a cross fading effect and a hint that we're looking at paralleled events). I'm gonna reformat my computer tonight and then install DVD Architect.

Aw crap now I gotta buy a new graphic card!!! Ahaha since the start of this project I've bought:
New Monitor
New Speakers
New HDD
New Keyboard and Mouse
2GB of RAM
And now I have to get a new graphic card... It's just funny to look back to how I started out with 512MB Ram, a laggy keyboard and mouse, Stereo speakers, a 30GB HDD and a huge CRT and how now I've ended up with the list above.

wow! from wat u started worth i could buy that at a store for 100 bucks! you've prolly spent more updating your computer!
Do wat you have to do, I'm looking forward to it. :)
So I've reformatted now and reinstalled vegas and architect. If I have too many colours or particles being emmitted on my screen at once I get bluescreened because I don't get the same original driver support for my video card as it's a legacy card now. A new graphic card is gonna set me back a bit. I think I'll probably just suck it up and get to work on it like this. Also my HDD is starting to get all wonky due to damage to the cable so I'll have to replace that cable too buy an external powered HDD, transfer the files over and then reformat the USB powered HDD. The other hard drive is a priority for me right after I get a new computer but the video card not so much seeing as by the time ESB:R is released I'll be using the Mac Pro.
Expect the Trailer Next BTW

You sure do a lot of re formatting LOL,this can't be good.
Haha this is the first time in like three years. I never got around to it until today. Either way the production process of ESB: Renascent will be significantly shorter as I'll be using a new computer by then.

Bad news, I can't continue until I get a new video card!!! The driver won't properly install (due to it being a legacy model now) and I have to get a new AGP video card with DivX 9, 128mb internal memory and a 2.0 cell shader. Everytime I try to open a moving image I get the "bluescreen of death". Unfortunately all my savings right now are going for the Mac (as I need it for school) so it looks like this project will probably have to go on hiatus until August 2010. Sorry guys! It really pisses me off that I finally have the outline for the trailer, the renders completed and the computer's speed recovered and then this happens. I'm not giving up on this edit just taking a really long break. Sorry again!

You will like the Mac Book pro. I have one and its great. Only thing is other then final cut pro there really are no good editing programs. None I can find are just simple fast programs like Vegas or Powerdirector.

You can get Vegas for Mac though, can't you?
(And if I mannage to pull out $140 to spare after all my payments tonight, and once I pull out $100 for the Mac, I think I can buy a graphic card.)
