You've got tiger blood dark_jedi.

I couldn't agree more.  I just finished the download and am checking it out as I type this.  This is exactly what I was looking for when I came here, I couldn't imagine anything better.  Thank you, dark_jedi!  Thank you!

Thanks so much for putting this together.

I'd been looking a long time for the right version/preservation to use to show my friend's daughter Star Wars for the first time (she's really young and it probably won't make a difference to her -- but I wanted to start her off right, and I'm sure in this forum that level of obsessiveness is understood...).  When I read about this project, it seemed to be just what I was looking for.

I've eagerly awaited it's release, and now it is ready, and she is just old enough to enjoy it!  I can't wait to watch it with her!

If anyone's got any myspeen invites left, I'd love one too.

Thanks to dark_jedi for all your hard work on these!  Looks like they're going to be amazing.

LOL, you got a taste of the Madness doing those subs, it sux doesn't it? starts to feel like a job, and you just want it OVER, but the super cool thing about the audio, it will port right over nicely to the Blu-ray set, and I will be able to keep it fresh LPCM.

Yeah, it does, but I only felt that way when I assisted you with the subs for your Blu-GOUT. Anyway, I know how crazy-hard sound-syncing is, at least IMO, so I really appreciate that both 35mm Dolby Stereo mixes of Empire and Jedi are preserved on this, even though 90% of the listeners won't bother, it's fantastic. Thank you for that.

We want you to be aware that we have no plans—now or in the future—to restore the earlier versions.

Sincerely, Lynne Hale publicity@lucasfilm.com

LOL, looking at the leechers over at Spleen, it looks like some of the people that I sent the DVD's to are downloading these also, so it is up to you msycamore, to be honest, I am not sure if I would, especially if you don't really worry about chapters much, and you already know that the score is there, it's cool either way, just letting you know.

I'm getting on the torrent (leeching currently) so that I can seed for others.  As a beta-tester, I consider this part of my "payment", if you will, for getting an early look. And it's an honor to be involved in this effort, even if was just a tiny bit.

Thanks again D_J.  Really fantastic work.

Just finished watching Empire. This thing is HOT. It's Magnum P.I. in short shorts. dark_jedi is the Wiz and noooobody beats him. Since I don't have an image of the real dark_jedi to worship, I hung my 12" single of "The Family Ghost" in my atrium and trimmed it with candles. I considered a sconce but that's so ten years ago.

HARMY RULES

Author
Time

When I was almost 4 my Dad borrowed Star Wars from the drive-in, and 1 magical night he changed the world and made me see it from a new certain point of view.

After that night, Star Wars was mine. Right after I saw Empire I went home and bit off Darth Vader's head. These are only part of the memories that make me want the Trilogy in an acceptable state.

So if I could get an invite to myspleen I would be thankful. Not only for me, but my nephew is ready for something that'll fire his imagination., without pandering to him.

If anyone has an

invite to myspleen could you send it to

I prefer the ones D_J posted here. Especially the ESB one.
The back makes Darth Vader look damn ominous! :)
Awesome job!
