Thanks vbangle, I will probably mess with a couple more days and then that is it for SW, I have been tweaking a little more so I will post more snaps, I took the contrast tweak back out, not really doing much anyways.

I think you that if the color tweaks you are using right now should be used unless they make some scenes look odd, then you should just leave it "as is." It looks good enough already. Either way it'll be a spectacular release.

Well personally I like some of these tweaks a lot better than the "as is" version, but as of right now it is staying as is, but I my have to do a V4 for my own personal viewing, but like I said, if we can come up with a tweak that most like, I will render a new version up, I am giving it a couple more days or so.
I liked the last color tweaks and I thought everyone else liked them, too. I'd prefer that to the "as is" version.

Oh sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I prefer the color tweaks too and would love to have them on the release. I'm just saying that, in the unlikely case, it makes some scenes look VERY odd, then an "as-is" version should be released instead. Either way I trust your judgment, Dark Jedi.

^^ If that's the case, why not put the 8% boost that g-force left out back in? That looked good enough in the first two versions and they pleased most people.

because I am not sure if that alone is worth a new multi hour re render and re encode, it is hardly any noticeable difference.
Fair enough! I think it looks a bit better, but I can totally understand your not wanting to re-render. :-)

DJ could you please show us what your current tweaks look like in a space battle shot, maybe the opening shot with the SD shooting at the Tantive IV, and then maybe a shot of the jawas on Tatooine. If you can.

Damn, those look pretty great! There might be a tad too much red in the highlights (looking at the Tantive IV walls and stormtrooper armor), but it's barely noticeable.
Also, gotta say, I still love those subtitles!

Wow! I think this is the best color correction of the GOUT yet. Those lightsabers look especially good. Vader's saber actually looks very red and not pinkish or orange, and Obi-Wan's looks blue and well defined. The subtitles are excellent; the ones in the GOUT always bothered me. Nice work DJ! I think that with this color correction V3 will be perfect!
