Yes, I saw that earlier. I didn't realize that they were in that post.
Come on guys, this place of ALL places should know that the actual Star Wars Day is May 25th.
Try saying "May the 4th" out loud, and you might understand...if not, here is some help:
In case anybody is interested, the file dark_jedi got from me a few days ago is a new isolated score, which has been processed with some really great analog gear. If you'll forgive my boldness in saying so, none of us have ever heard the music of Star Wars sound this good before, and I hope it will be a satisfying addition to this great release of the film. :)
I'll be glad to give more specific details of what was done if anyone wants to hear about it.

Thanks for pointing this out. I will definitely give it a listen. I am a big fan of analog sound and would love to hear the process you used to put the isolated score together.
Why they released both isolated sound effects and score tracks on THX 1138 and yet on neither the official DVDs and Blu-Ray for the SW Saga is beyond my comprehension.

I always like to hear about how you create your work. Did this isolated score end up in Harmy's 2.5 AVCHD, or is it only available here?
Star Trek: The Motion Picture DE - The Anti-DNR Fanedit
Duel (1971) - The Hybrid Cut
The Phantom of the Opera - 1925 Version Reconstruction - Rare Scores Collection - Roy Budd Score
Yeah, it's there, only there it's only a 224Kbps AC3.

Very interested. I love the other SW isolated scores, so many nuances and extra pieces not contained in the original box set and certainly not in the SE scores. Thanks HH! ;-)
I'm Downloading! I'm Downloading! 720p! 720p! Oh happy day I must say! Thanks to all
Downloading now. Can't wait to watch tomorrow after work!

So, here's a screenshot from the 97 disc, for those who were interested.

Incredible work Team Blu! I can't believe how well this whole project came together. Thank you so much.
The Menus are unbelievable!
Both discs look fantastic, but I have to say I really don't remember the 97 SE looking this good before.
Cheers
Edit: I can post these to Myspleen if it's ok with you, Dark_Jedi.
If I had some gum, I’d chew a hole into the sun…
This is not much but I dug up an old post where I compared the raw 97 SE with our version: http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Star-Wars-OT-1997-Special-Edition-Info/post/608625/#TopicPost608625
Some images aren't there anymore but what's there will give you an idea of the difference. I don't have the files for ANH 97 SE anymore so I can't make any new pics.
And right now I'm having a tough cold, so I kinda don't have the power to put together a bunch of screens from GOUT vs our version right now. I'd just say grab it if and when you can, because it's the best the GOUT will ever look.
