I went there and that forum no longer gives out invites. Went to the MySpleen forums and they no longer give out invites either (the discussion is locked). Instead they posted links to the despecialized editions (no WHIO holiday special link).
Any other help would be appreciated!

Why do we still entertain these requests in the project threads? It clogs them up.
Could I also get a non-MySpleen download link? I don't really feel like I'd use MySpleen often enough for me to track down an invite (I already found non-MySpleen downloads for Harmy's Despecialized Trilogy), and it seems like a lot of members on there don't appreciate people grabbing media and never returning. People can't harm your computer using bittorrent protocol, but your IP is completely open for anyone to see. If you don't want it, get a VPN or a seedbox.

It's not that, just a lot of private trackers don't like it when you download a bunch, and don't give anything back. I know it can be difficult when you're trying to seed something, but there's five seeds and zero peers...sometimes it's almost like you have to download something popular that you're not interested in, just to get your ratio back up =|

I rendered it in Sony Vegas and then used DVD Architect to author the disc image. I’m sure there are plenty of alternatives to these two but that’s what I used.

Thanks Tasjo. I’m making progress on my preservation project. Did you remove overscan from the vhs capture and how did you do it? Did you use a de-interlacer or any other filter other than the Spotremover?

I just have a question about these WHIO releases. Someone stated earlier that the original tape only had the Kenner and FTD Florists commercial. Does the Kenner commercial also appear at the beginning like it is on this YouTube video? /watch?v=ZX0x-I06Fpc I don’t think the order is real. Sorry for the bump btw
