Darkhorizons.com is reporting that Stardust is being made into a film by one of Gaiman's friends, so hopefully it will be good adaptation.

On the flipside, I'm trying to watch MirrorMask right now. So far it's quite good, but the actors mumble too much and it is difficult to understand.

I guess I better hurry up and finish 'American Gods' so I can start on 'Stardust'!

Geez- if YOU hadn't suggested so many damn good comics for me to start reading maybe I *could* have finished!

I'm also interested to see what Gaiman's take on Marvel's 'Eternals' will be. Could be some fun to be had there.

I'd like to see Gaiman's children's book Coraline adapted for film. There's so much great imagery in that book that could turn into absolute gold in the right hands.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Actually I got Coraline for Christmas. Haven't read it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Any outright recommendations to someone who has yet to enjoy the wonder that is Neil Gaiman?
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

If you're not a comics fan, I'd suggest the novel American Gods, which is fantastic. If you are a comics fan, I'd suggest the Sandman Trade Paperbacks, starting with vol 1: Preludes and Nocturnes (although the series hits it's stried on the 3rd one). If you're on the fence about comics I'd suggest you try to pick up the 6th volume called Fables and Reflections, which is a great collection but particularly the last story called "Ramadan", which I think is one of the best stories I've ever read, in print or comics (and it's beautifully illustrated).

I like comic books, but I've been out of the loop for a while. I'll have to remember to order these from Amazon.

a few years ago there was a rumor that they were going to make a Death movie...anybody know whatever became of that, or was it just a rumor?

I've heard a screenplay is in the works for Death: The Time of Your Life and that Gaiman is working on it. Uncofirmed of course, so take it with a grain of salt.

MIRRORMASK REMINDS ME OF A CONTEMPORARY LABRYNTH. I LIKED MIRRORMASK, BUT IT ALWAYS FELT AS IF SOMETHING WAS MISSING FROM IT.

I never got back to it this weekend. Will try to soon. So far the mumbling is a major stumbling point for me...
