I’m happy to announce that The Last Jedi - Consistency Edition has been updated to V3.
V3 Changes:
The title crawl has been significantly improved with brighter text and better spacing.
Minor tweaks to some of the audio.
Removed the slight green tint from the Exogel scenes.
Rey has a quick glimpse of herself sitting on the Sith throne before she is thrown into the cave. (Eye replacement by NeverarGreat.)
Removed a flash frame after Luke first speaks to Yoda.
Kylo hears Palpatine call out to him after dealing with the Mustafar guards, which leads him to discover the Sith Wayfinder. (Palpatine audio by Poppasketti.)
I’d like to thank everyone who provided resources that made this edit possible, as well as those who have waited patiently to see this, either again or for the first time. I’m planning to work on my Rise of Skywalker edit in the near future. I’ve cut ties with Fanedit.org since I couldn’t handle their hypocrisy on the approval process anymore.
Could I get a link to the new V3?

Hey Man! I recently had a chance to watch your edit, and I absolutely love it. This will be my go-to edit during my rewatches.
Probably the only thing that I have a gripe about is the lack of Luke’s characterization. I feel it could’ve been expanded more by keeping the “It’s time for the Jedi to end” line and his rant about how “the legacy of the Jedi is a failure”.
I’m a big fan of the clone wars series and if you’ve seen the show, you’d know that the second quote has some truth to it. While I don’t exactly agree with what Luke is saying, nor do I think it matches with characterization in the original trilogy, I think future media from Dave Filoni will flesh out the concept of Luke gradually becoming disappointed in himself and the Jedi order due to his explorations and Ben Solo.
This is just my opinion and I do get why you chose to cut these things out.
All hail Lord Revan100. Your changes look great. I’d love a link to this and any other SW content you’ve got.

I’m glad you enjoyed the edit. I don’t watch the Clone Wars but I understand what it tries to focus on when it comes to the Jedi.
Looking back to what I said about leaving Fanedit.org about the approval process, I was rash and failed to understand that there were things about the plot and some technical stuff that needed to be addressed. So I went back and redid the entire edit. Some elements from the film are brought back for the sake of context and stakes, while other things have been changed.
The edit itself is almost approved, I’m just waiting for it to be upscaled by someone who offered his help.
So I won’t be sending links (again) until the IFDB page is created and everything is ready.
This edit has been finalized to V4 and is now part of the IFDB.
Special thanks goes to ArtisDead, INIGHTMARES, Wraith, bbghost, and lantern51 from Fanedit.org for their time and support to help get this edit approved. An additional credit is given to INIGHTMARES for putting in considerable time to upscale this edit. His efforts are truly appreciated and I am very grateful for the work he put into making the quality look better.
V4 changes:
Inserted FanEdit.org copyright disclaimer and logo.
Adjusted the format of the title crawl.
Brought back the end of the elevator scene where Kylo demands his ship to be prepared.
The music continues after the “Luke has a moment” deleted scene ends until Rey turns around.
Brought back General Hux’s scenes on the Star Destroyer.
Brought back Poe and BB-8’s reactions after activating the X-wing booster.
The First Order chase is brought back.
Brought back Luke telling Rey he will train her, but still doesn’t mention the Jedi teachings needing to end.
Brought back the Resistance briefing on Leia’s status.
BB-8 and Finn deleted scene is moved after the briefing. No cropped shots because Finn has Leia’s beacon in this version.
Moved the added Mustafar shot near the end of the edit.
The end of Rey and Kylo’s first force conversation is back. Used Snooker’s resource that removes the Caretakers. Removed Luke saying: “Let’s get started.” Used an establishing shot of the island that carries over to Rey’s training.
The water coming out of the cave is brought back during Rey’s training. Luke mentions Ben when he explains seeing the raw strength before.
All three versions of Luke’s encounter with Ben are present.
The scene with Luke on the ridge is reverted back to him contacting Leia.
The end of Rey seeing her parents say their last words to her doesn’t conclude as abrupt as before.
Rey sees Kylo fighting Snoke’s guards and Kylo sees Rey reaching her hand out after the two of them make physical contact. The Mustafar shot is gone. Luke disrupts their connection and Rey demands Luke to tell her the truth. The two of them do not fight.
Replaced the quick shot of Palpatine with a quick shot of Kylo before Luke turns on his lightsaber out of fear.
The Yoda scene is back in its original spot and ends with the last Resistance support craft being destroyed.
Removed the deleted scene of Kylo waiting for Rey.
Brought back the elevator conversation. Rey doesn’t say anything about feeling Kylo’s conflict and Kylo doesn’t say he saw Rey’s parents.
The gap between the throne room fight is covered with the Resistance transports leaving the cruiser.
Added Kylo pushing Rey to give him the answer to her lineage and her following response.
Added a “windy” sound effect when Rey and Kylo struggle to get the Skywalker saber.
Included Leia gazing at the horizon to clarify she is alright. Brought back the Resistance setting up the base up to the point when Poe tells Connix to transmit the distress signal.
The original placement of the Falcon diverting the Ties and the Resistance retreating is back. Remade the sound effects after Kylo gives the order to blow the Falcon out of the sky to accommodate the adjusted music.
Finn objects to the retreat order and is shot down by one of the walkers, he runs back towards the base as the cannon fires.
Significantly reduced the cropping when the cannon fires so the speeder debris is visible and for the view to be clearer.
Poe questions how did Luke get inside the base.
Included more of the Resistance going though the tunnels and Rey searching for them.
Rey and Leia’s reactions to Luke’s death are moved to their original spots.
Inserted TROS footage of Kylo interacting with Vader’s helmet. He discovers Palpatine is still alive and the existence of Exogel and the Wayfinder. Palpatine calls out to him during the scene. Added Poppasketti’s shot of the Tie Fighters over Mustafar before the scene cuts to Kylo fighting the guards.
Credited members of the Fanedit.org community for their efforts to help approve and upscale this edit.
