I still haven’t had time to set up Vimeo or a Google drive yet but I’ll switch out the soundtrack I’m using and replace it with some royalty free stuff and add it to Youtube next week.

Wow great work on the dialogue, is their dialogue meant to be telepathic? looks very effective.
In this version is there a reason for why Luke has to go? In the last Jedi he dies from draining his force energy from the incredibly taxing feat on Crait, I just think him dying for no reason would kind of undercut his arc in TLJ so I’m also curious about his arc in your version of that film.

As it’s one of the opening scenes of I’m hoping that the same emotion carries through but I have been looking for other dialogue for loop to say “it’s my time” or something like that. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Only to have a more positive ending. I’m Killing him straight off at the start of TROS but I’ve been reworking the start middle and end thanks to people’s amazing creations on here.

I also can’t thank you enough for making the amazing force ghost scene. I actually rewatched all the prequels and had footage ready to start working on Qui-Gon etc but you did way beyond anything I could do. I applaud you, Sir!

I wasn’t sure what LUT was? Is it another program or an effect?

Not sure what the shots seem different, they’re the same shot. I’ve been playing the the last 2 shots with “the moon” and I think I’ve improved them slightly after splitting them with different colour effects. Still tricky being colourblind though.

It can be used with the Lumetri Color Effect in two ways:

The original Luke shot gets brighter over time, it’s noticeable if you compare the first shot to the beginning of the second shot, or the beginning of the second shot to its end.

I think that’s what I did. I’m not 100% sure as I played around with so many settings but that seems right. I’ll take another look.

I’m wondering if that colour changes as the sun is rising in the original footage. I did notice a few things after I uploaded that video. Think I’ve got the final moon part sorted but I’ll have to check it out with fresh eyes tomorrow. Thanks for your help.

I’ve created two LUTs, the first one is for the shots where Luke is visible from the front, and the second one is for the sunset. After extracting the zip archive, you should be able to load them in the Lumetri Color Effect.
If you’re interested, I also have the Premiere Pro project where you can tweak the color adjustments individually.

If you open it, you’ll see a Missing media window, you can “Locate” the video file (I’ve used the video you’ve uploaded on Vimeo) or “Offline All”, you just need the Adjustment Layer clips anyway.

It looks so good! Thank you so much for teaching me this, and thanks for doing an excellent job on the colours. It really pops now.

I did try to save other settings but I’m not sure where the file is stored? My Mac doesn’t seem to index my hard drives any more.
