Hey everyone, I’ve been pondering for a while (since I first read the leaked screenplay) about the possibility of making Duel of the Fates, I was thinking via SFM animation or some other visual medium but it could be hard to achieve something good. I really love the scrapped screenplay and I think it could be a fun project to work on, or I’m just underestimating and it would be a hellish never-ending nightmare haha.
I’m about to start drawing up some storyboards but if anyone has any idea on how to pull it off i’d love to hear some ideas! Thank you!

The thing I feel would be impossible is rendering large crowds and the large environments (eg Coruscant)

This is probably a long shot, but I was thinking that something like this should be done in the form of an 80s style Anime. Something along the lines of Otaking’s Tie Fighter Anime short would be the ideal way to get the DOTF script into a visual form.

Nice idea, tough to do so though. Why not try to contact “StarWars Theory”, not quite sure but i´ve heard he is playing with the same idea.

that would be amazing but would probably be a huge long-shot, just cause it’d be feature-length

I feel like Cinematic Captures would be a much better option than Star Wars Theory. They can definitely pull off some top notch animation.
