I love SW radio dramas!

What is the current status of the project?

But yeah, I'd written three and a half drafts of the script. recorded several lines with fiends a half a year ago. (Its just now that I realize how much I've changed in that time) I then realized that my close friends (and more so I) are pretty awful at voice acting. That, other's apparent lack of interest in the project, and my own growing interest in film (Which is finally beginning to work out) caused me to postpone the production.

Anyway, to sort of answer your question, If I ever return to the project (which is a strong possibility) I would have to rewrite the script, get a better microphone and find better actors.

Also, watch out for my films! (which seem to keep running into obstacles(Mostly scheduling difficulties (I never thought getting a small number of people in the same room would be this difficult)))

(Lots of parentheses in this one.)

Well that's good news -- I look forward to any updates on the project.

I think the magical thing about audio dramatizations is that since the visuals are in your mind, you are less limited by the budget constraints of film.  You effectively have an "unlimited" budget to create a soundscape of events that would cost hundreds of millions if filmed.

Marc Thompson's brilliant reading of Heir to the Empire's 20th Anniversary just did that for me.  John Williams's music, Ben Burtt's sounds, and Thompson's near-perfect impersonations of 20+ distinct characters -- it felt like the closest thing we'll ever get to a Thrawn trilogy feature film.

Good luck on all your ventures!
