Really. Wow whoever designed the UK covers had some good taste. I just wanted to make a cover with that poster. After all I was going for the retro approach

Can Somebody make a Fanboys cover that Just like the official Star Wars DVDs? with VII on the spine? This was the originally intended design, but they weren't allowed to do it.

Aw, thanks! That's exactly what I was aiming for - the Star Wars rental box just had a magic that hasn't been matched by any other release, probably because it still has the association of a special treat (which the own-at-home varieties weren't, to quite the same extent).
I'm very tempted to take you up on the Revisited suggestion, but I need to find a way to distinguish them from the basic set - black on white, maybe? Though with the making-of connotations of that scheme, it may be better suited to a Star Wars Begins / Building Empire / Returning to Jedi set...
If it is to house the discs of the box set it would need a design for the extras disc, perhaps one of the OT single programme posters could be the inspiration?

That poster's ace! Hadn't thought of doing anything with extras as yet, just concentrating on the films themselves - so maybe three sets in total, the GOUTs (via Mother and G-Force) I've done, then the Revisiteds, then the Jambe Davdar docs. I reckon I'll skip the SEs altogether ;-)
BTW, has anyone heard anything from JD recently?
There aren't that many portrait style trilogy posters out there and sadly Jedi elements are missing in the example I posted.

I'm loving these covers AM. A suggestion for the ROTJ:R cover, though: perhaps make the light/aura around Vader and Luke more "dynamic" (similar to the one for ANH).
