I should've looked at this thread sooner! My gosh, there are great covers in this thread. This makes me want to buy the OOT trilogy and make 20 different copies so that I can use all of these covers

You put Lucasfilm to shame...

OK, so the "Journal of the Whills" is a refrence to some book right? So why add that to the covers, is there some set out there that's named that?

Journal of the Whills refers to what Lucas was originally going to label the entire saga before it simply just came out as "Star Wars"

"The Adventures of Luke Starkiller as Taken from the Journal of the Whills..." yada, yada, yada

or should I yoda, yoda, yoda before someone else does.

Okay, not sure how specific I'll be when I do the features as I'd like to incorperate some pictures. When I do customs, I tend to go with a modified retail look (personal preferance I guess). I used the suggestions given and made this an all region cover. So here's the update, let me know how I'm doing.

Here's another update. I need to fix that saber. I haven't tried that effect before. Do you think Vader is too big and add more/different images or leave as is and add the rest of the features block?

I'd make the background a bit darker. Also, it looks like you still have the FBI warning on there just without the logo?

Coov, I in no way intend to slight your work, it is some of the greatesst I have seen, and I thank you whole-heartedly for posting so many wonderful covers, but there is one thing I find very aesthetically displeasing, on the front-top-left of each cover in your new set there is something resembling a scratch, why?

The scratches are simply imperfections in the brushed metal. I subdued them just a touch...

Someone suggested I try a black/copper background. I kind of like it, but does anyone know how I can get my lightsabe tip to glow upward?

Sorry, I wanted to see what this looked like in 3D, I hope you don't mind. I think Vader might be a little on the Dark Side *rim shot*
'cause his saber all but dissappears. Maybe bring him back in a bit and throw a drop shadow on the text, if there isn't on already.

Keep it up - I think it looks pretty sharp, man.

EDIT - seems the darkness of Vader is due to the shadow of the 3D image...nevermind. Look great.

Looks great so far. I like how there isn't any text on the front of the cover. Its obvious what it is, text would be redundant.

Are you doing all six? and are you alternating backgroud colors? I like sets that do that.

Well, I'm satisfied with this. I decided to use Sluggo's suggestion and am going to colour the episode text by film. So Green for I, Blue/Purple for II, Red for III. For the SE OT, I might got with Blue for IV, Red for V and Green for VI. Here's the final for III. Let me know if you want it uploaded somewhere or wait for the saga.

Wow. Amazing covers. Could they be done with the alternate titles of I and II? I'm trying to find different disc and case art for ADM's set, and most good ones I've found have the original titles, not A Vergence In The Force and Path To The Dark Side. Which is what I need. :/

Thanks Lord3vil, but the one I had hoped to use wasn't large enough. I'm a bit at a loss of what character to put here. I haven't been able to find many hi-res pics that I like. I'll keep looking. In the meantime here a quick preview.
