Star Wars Bloggers

Well, I'm sure most of us are aware that Erich's Star Wars blog is gone. That's a shame, he had some really interesting points on his page, and they were all very well presented. Anyway, I got to thinking, there are surely other bloggers out there talking about star wars, but the thing is, no one knows about them. Hence this thread. I'm merely proposing that we make a comprehensive listing of Star Wars Blogs. Just an idea, and here's a start. If there's enough interest, I'll come back and update this post with the urls that are posted or msg'd to me:

The Emperor's Throne Room - This is Darth Sheba's Blog, you may have seen her around the forums by now. I've gone back and read the whole of it, and it's some terrific stuff. Obviously someone who cares deeply about Star Wars.

Docking Bay 94 - This is my Blog. I started it just recently, when I discovered that Erich's had disappeared. My appologies to Sheba for using the same template as her blog, but as she is no doubt aware, it's the best template blogger.com offers

T'Bone's Star Wars Universe T-Blog - Almost forgot that there was a Blog on T'Bones site. T'Bone has a pretty terrific Star Wars site, and while his blog isn't updated terribly often, it's certainly worth checking out. Good stuff to be had by all.

Hmmm, well, I had intended to search out other Star Wars themed blogs, but my searches are turning up dry. That's kind of surprising really. Oh well. If anybody has more to add to the list, let's have 'em

As I am new to this forum, I believe that a "blog" is an online daily diary of sorts, if I'm not mistaken. If I am then someone should correct me. I was thinking the same thing when I saw this and then I saw your question and remember visiting http://www.wilwheaton.net/ and he is quite the "blogger" fan as well as his site reflects. I hope this helps cause I think I confused myself in the process......lmao

You're absolutely right, Jetrell, and welcome to the forums! Some of us have links to our own blogs in our signatures (myself for instance, and Bossk as well). There are literally millions of these things floating around, ranging from ones dealing with technology, to news and political commentary, to ones written by teenage girls talking about Orlando Bloom. They're extremely freeform web pages, and they're really fun, too!

To clarify also, where the word "Blog" comes from, the orignal term Is Web log, however, people just stuck the word together, hacked off the ends and boom, you've got "blog". For some it's a diary or Journal, for others it's more akin to an internet cork board. And for still others, it's an internet "soapbox".

In the spirit of unity amongst us, I added Darth Sheba's and Pagz's sites to the list of links on my blog! If anyone else has a blog they'd like me to stick on there, let me know!

And this would definitely be the term to use to describe mine. Every once in a while, I even sign off a rant by saying "soapbox dismounted." Heh heh.

Yep, I'm a blogger, too. However, mine isn't all about Star Wars so I don't list it here. Mine is a bit of this and a bit of that. Nice well-rounded ranting.
