Star Wars: Andor (Season 2)(Continues Chapters IV to VII film series)

You may have seen that Andor has returned to mixed reviews—but that just gives me the perfect opportunity to continue my movie series based on the earlier episodes.

Season one worked beautifully as a film trilogy, and with season two structured around three episodes spaced a year apart, it’s shaping up to be ideal for a new quintology-style film edition.

After viewing the first 3 episodes, I gotta say I’m a little disappointed but it has a lot of potential. Here are my suggested changes so far…

• Delay use seeing Cassian til much later
• Cut down on how indestructible the new Tie is
• Cut down on how bad Cassian flies the Tie
• Edit down as much of the wedding as possible
• Cut out as much exposition dumps as I can
• Remove the “flirting” intro with Cassian and the girl (seems pointless)
• Remove all of Yavin 4 scenes and the bickering gang Cassian bumps into
• Edit together the Krennic meeting into one scene to build anticipation
• Remove some of Syril and Dedra build up to mother scene
• Remove some homestead scenes for pacing
• Rearrange a lot of scenes to lessen the back and forth
• Remove Bix saying the R word

While chapter IV movie instalment is finished, I’d like to see how the story unfolded before releasing anything to you guys.
