This is the full list that should include all deleted scenes and shots that I know to exist. Will not know run time until each version is completed.
update for ESB is the same and here is link to that post where shot list is now updated

Shotlist for Jedi started some but a ways to go and will not visit unitl after May as I want to get extended versions of ESB, ANH and Raiders done first

Shooting for this May for version 1 but it’s looking tight, got some competing things. Working on the Luke and Biggs deleted walk (been a waiting years to get at this one and get it restored and hoping for this in a few weeks. I am thinking about releasing it as a sample progress full res clip just to keep things fresh and moving, but it will also be in version one. Thanks for the interest.

Biggs & Luke Take A Walk At Tosche

So wanted to share an update on ANH-X. It is coming along but I have some competing things going on. I just wanted to get this sample clip out as it seems like I have been working on this one for 10 years. I was never happy with it and technology was not there to clean it up enough to insert it into a final movie without it looking like it from the cutting room floor, so it was always throw it on the shelf and come back later. Love this scene ever since I saw the photos in the 1977 storybook

I wanted this in the movie, but with all the editions, we never got it.

the Tosche Station Biggs and Luke walk was a challenge because aside from being long, it has a little bit of everything…dust, scratch lines, blots, massive yellowing coloring jumps in frames, bluryness you name it.

My approach to this was to match a modern look where the color of the sky is a nice desert blue and colors are vivid, this also needs to match the Adywan base to which I am looking to match it all up with. Below is one of my reference sheets that I was using. The first Tosche station scene also uses this color grade (that is also 98% done)

For the final clip I added an all new music track that is actually a combination of 3 different music tracks that fans on Youtube who posted this clip not restored (Credit to others for mixing some excellant backtracking)…really helps when you have some samples and choice to pick and choose from.

I may tweak a few things right before a V1 of ANH (still hoping from sometime in May), but this scenes image should 98% and faithful to the photograph references we have seen throughout the years.

One last thing, the scene with 3PO at the start that transitions into with desert ridge is zoomed in a little more as intentional as I wanted to get a closer shot and dragon bones and the over shot framed.

The end fade into R2 into the caynon is another edit using the original Adywan FX composite from way back, but with his new HD sky (sample from what he posted (Sky graphic all credit to him). I personally like the idea of the caynon looking more like the Jugland Waste we see outside of new hope, Prequals etc. (complete with the BThazoshe Bridge). See sample artwork of that as reference below:

The version that we got with the Bluray was kind of just ok and somewhat overly orange, so wanted add this new composite.

Does not have a 5.1 track yet…it’s stereo, but when I get to the mix for that (V1 release) will have it

Update

In looking at this clip compared to the other where friends are around (what appears to be not much time between) I notice that where I placed it was a little off as far as on the timeline IMO.

I now have an updated version in which the scene with friends (getting close on finishing this one) is right before the droids landing as if Luke sees the battle and goes to tell his friends. Luke and friends at Tosche clip will then end right and transition into the droids just out of the POD and walking the desert

…this meant, I had to move the Biggs and Luke walk a little farther so it starts after R2 rolls away and ends with 3PO now by himself wandering.

I think this makes better sense and it breaks of the “desert wandering” clips a little which has always been the slow part of the film.

Nice … but there are a few skips in the video at around 40 secs - followed by a big one at the 47 secs mark.
