Just joined, and letting all know of some versions I am working on. This tread specifically for ANH. I actually started this one 5 years ago and now it’s back on since now I do more and have finally built up a new machine and have some more time to devote.
ANH-X (extended)
Short summary of this version:
-Adywan version in 1920 x 816 (placeholders now until he releases his official HD cut so lower res place holders can be swapped out). Included is all the official deleted scenes fully restored and added in where appropriate + radio drama extra scenes as footage (either newly shot and lots of compositing to match original look or using alternate cuts angles from original). This version will also open with a new opening crawl that follows the original 1976 novel that brings in a nostalgia element + original reference to the Wills, Palpatine and the Jedi knight purge which fits the films that now come before ANH. It also will set up the beginning of this version better which is chapter 3 of the radio drama in which it transitions from Rogue one to ANH. This will only be in the V3 for those that do not want any tie-ins, but still welcome a extended ANH

Vader returns from the Raddus (V3)
Scene with dialogue between him and officer about tracking the Rebels which has now jumped to hyperspace (end of R1). Vader’s Devastator enters hyperspace in pursuit. -
Hallway Tantive IV, Antilles and Leia enroute to Tatooine.(V3)
Antilles talks to the droids and instructs them to go to a certain area of the ship for now + follow all orders of leia that may come. Leia informs Antilles of the mission they must proceed with, being to get plans to jedi general and that Tatooine is the next stop. Audio and entire scene taken from Radio drama but a complete reshoot as live action. -
Imperial officer scenes & Vader(V3)
Vader is told by an officer while on the bridge that they did get a homing beacon on the ship and they have calculated the Rebels trajectory and location. Vader instructs the officer to prepare a full platoon this time -

Shots of both ships leaving Hyperspace just before the famous overhead “Star destroyer entrance”.

- Extra Establishing shot above Tatooine (V1)
Extra shot to show Star destoyer above the planet, such that when we cut to Luke and treadwell (next scene) we understand they are directly below and why Luke can see it in his Binocs - small edit that is a lead in.
C 6. Luke w/treadwell on the surface (V1)
The deleted scene showing Luke looking up at the battle from planet side-more audio courtesy of the radio drama version. Look races away in speeder to tell his friends and cuts back to the battle. V2 of this later will have Luke from a few different angles to improve the flow of this scene.
C 7. Troopers searching hallway doors after entering the Tantive (V1)
Extra deleted scene of troopers searching hallway doors immediately after entering Tantive. Troopers are checking each door first before proceeding through the halls - laser bolts added here, dust and scratch removal etc.

Longer cut of captain Antilles capture and Vader (V3)
Here, Vader uses force pull to bring the captain to his choking hand and there is some more dialogue from radio drama for Vader and an imperial officer who was not in the theatrical scene. We also see Vader leave in an interesting hallway shot from perspective looking from inside out as he walks with officer. There is a popular color photo of this in circulation -
Longer cut of Leia giving R2 the plans from Radio Drama (V2/V3)
More of a fan service than a critical scene to add, gives a sense that she records the message just in time + we would see this famous scene as it happens in its entirety- Extra audio courtesyfrom the radio drama edition.
C 10. Droids looking for the escape pod (V1)
Extended scene of droids looking for escape pod as taken from the Radio Drama. Here, there is more dialogue and extended scenes before they launch

Luke passes through Anchorhead on his way to Toshe station (V2)
Luke speeds across the desert (from deleted scene) and enters a small town (presumably anchorhead), enroute to Toshi station (known to be on the outskirts). Luke startles an older woman as he speeds by (another deleted scene). This old woman also had a reference in the comic version of ANH -
Tosche #2 Luke & friends look to the sky (V1)
Restored deleted scene where Luke rushes to Tosche Station excited to tell his friends about the battle above. We see him pull up in the land speeder and park and he continues inside to converse. The gang all follows Luke outside. In V2, added dialogue to match new shots from the radio drama before they go outside.
C 13. Droids in the desert (V1)
Longer scene of the droids after they land with slightly more cuts and different angles. Edited to accommodate the extra radio drama dialogue.

Blue Milk and Lars Breakfast (V1)
3PO waves sandcrawler down in the prior scene and cuts to the deleted. “Beru’s Blue Milk” + a continuation into the dining area from the Radio drama. This meal scene has Luke and Owen taking about getting more droids for help and we first see Owen’s temper. Luke leaves the table in this scene frustrated. -
Tosche #2 Luke and Biggs (V1)
Longer version of this scene where they are inside talking and drinking their beverages, before walking out to the backside of the station and the familiar deleted scene. V2 to include The extended elements of this scene with extra audio from Radio drama before they walk outside.
C 16. Slightly longer version of special edition “troopers find the escape pod”(V1)
Following Bigs and lukes farewell at Tosche, We see the SE version of the scene, but with an off camera order from an officer as taken from radio drama and more wind sound. Not too much different, but a little extended none the less.
- Cleaning up the tech droids (V1)
Longer scene including parts from the radio drama. Slight additions, where Luke is asking 3PO if he was in a battle above the planet (referring to treadwell scene).

Rise and Shine (V3)
Extra scene in the morning, where they push the landspeeder out as to not wake up everyone when they go to search for R2. -
Search for R2 (POV in the Speeder) (V1)
This delete footage includes a projected background to make the landspeeder appear to be moving as Luke and 3po ride through the desert. There is more conversation here between Luke and 3PO. V3 Gets some more dialogue and history on how luke briefly met Ben a few times when he was younger but no new shots. V3 later version will have more angles and scenes as opposed to just the deleted scene usage.
- Droid Found (V1)
A high angle shot of them below in the cayon when they finaly find R2. V3, an extra shot of Luke getting out of speeder next to R2.
C 21. All 4 sandpeople mounting their Banthas (V1)
Deleted scene of sandpeople trying climbing to their banthas and if watching closely, you can see there were actually 4.

Ben and Luke w/broken 3PO arm (V1)
Extension of this scene where Ben mentioned it was a krayt dragon sound he made. V2 has additional shots of Ben helping getting 3PO upright, so they can get him back together. V3 to bring a shot of Luke turning on 3PO from behind. -
Ben’s Story (V1)
They go to Ben’s home where there is the same scene as Adywan, except a little more backstory. V3 to bring a few more lines from Ben as he opens the trunk. -
Ride to Mos Eisley (V3)
They drive to mos E. There is more dialogue here than in the movie. Ben suggest they go up to a ridge for a look at the city from afar. -
Extended On the Cliff Above Mos Eisley (V1)
“Well there we are, Mos Eisley spaceport” - “I’m ready for anything” - longer version of the scene w/clip that was a deleted angle/audio.

Soon after they enter, there is a low shot with another speeder and high shot which them rolling up to the storm trooper check point, which is not in the theatrical -
Longer Cantina scene (V1)
The deleted scenes showing all monsters old and new + some unused colorized cantina scenes. We also see ben walk ahead to the table now, as when Luke entered in the theatrical, Ben is already not with them. -
Ben talks to BoShek, a corlillian pilot (V3)
Scene from radio drama and where we first get introduced to Chewie, while Ben looks for a pilot. -
The informant and Han admires Ben’s sabre work (V1)
Extended deleted scene where we see more of the informant outside the cantina. There is a quick extra scene immediately after where Han first meets Ben and Luke and makes a comment about ben’s work with the light sabre + we see Jenny leave the table. -
Stormtroopers Search Tatooine (V1)
Deleted scene of stormtrooper searching the Mos Eisley alley ways where we see “stilt monster”. Who did not make it into the final film., but found his way into the The Star Wars Holiday Special.

Hiding in the Droid Lot (V3)
New scene with 3PO and R2 as they try to hide in a used droid lot. Will do this or the extra scene where 3po and r2 knock on doors to avoid capture and tell an owner that he and Artoo are members of the Skywalker Technical Maintenance Service. -
Scene with Vader arriving with Leia to death star (V3)
Shorter version of much longer scene where vader lands with Leia on the death start. Including him exiting the shuttle with her as it sets up the next scenes which mentions it -
Extended scene with governers talking in the death star board room (V3)
Here they mention vader as a sith lord and that Tarkin went to meet vader who has arrived with Leia. - TBD

Jabba Extended Scene (V2)
Same special edition scenes, but with ROTJ orange eyes and more green and slime on mouth to look like ROTJ Jabba which will only be 6 years later. For SE they used Phantom menace Jabba which is what he would have looked like 32 years ago. -
Darth Vader Widens the Search (V1)
In this short scene, Darth Vader and Chief Bast walk along a corridor on the Death Star. Vader observes that Princess Leia is resisting interrogation, and Bast boldly criticizes Tarkin’s plan to break her as “foolish.” V3 to bring improved textures on vader’s suit.

Selling the Speeder (V3)
Luke talks to the junk dealer in the speaker lot and obiwan uses a jedi mind trip on him to get 2K credits for the speeder. -
Falcon Bragging extended scene (V2)
In the radio version, Han does do a little more bragging about the falcon when they meet up in docking bat 94 than he did in the movie. An extra shot and a few extra lines here.

Leia And Tarkin (V1)
Tarkin stands in front of the big screen, before ordering Alderaan destruction and Darth Vader enters in the room. Here, we see the destruction of Alderaan, but with an extra scene and line from Leia (and you call yourself human). In V3, will correct the scene’s wide shot later with real actor stand-ins. -
Hiding in the falcon (V1)
There is an extended scene when they land and hide in the compartments and talk some before knocking out the storm troopers and taking their uniforms. Might be V2, if we need some additional body shots, this would be in the dark and underneith -
Before Swing Across Chasm (V1)
Luke and Leia jumping across the gap - alternate take -with more dialogue (for luck, we’re gonna need it) + Frontal view after the swing. Other than that, same scene as the theatrical. Might be V2, if we need some additional body shots

Ben and the tractor Beam controls (V1)
More shots of ben in the room to shut off the tractor beam, some taken from different angles that were shot - Might be V2, if we need some additional body shots -
Death Star Sneaking Around Scene (V1)
A longer version of “you’re braver than I thought” scene, includes the heroes running into some imperials and just walking casually by, except the imperials are removed because they certainly would have noticed our heros being there and out of place. -
Vader Vs Obi Wan Duel (V1)
Scene 38 reimagined, but no ewan and haden voices and not as much(If any) of the heavily dubbed ROS music. -
Fallen Friend (V3)
There is ~2 min of extra radio drama scene with luke talking to leia at the chess table before the tie-fighter fight.

Leia and Han in falcon before Yavin (V1)
Extra scene where audio exist from cast read, but uses quality footage from the film to where they are elaborating more and Leia says talks to Hhan about what R2 is carrying + that they are going to Yavin and chewie already has the coordinates in the falcon. -
Yavin Approach (V2)
There is a longer scene from radio drama coming into Yavin orbit where han is talking. More as they land as well

Yavin base Outside (V3)
There is about 1 minute of extra outside scenes and talking from the radio drama before they enter the base. -
Packing up (moved to V2)
There is a longer scene of solo and chewie packing up there payment that is extra audio is from the radio drama -
Luke and Bigs at Yavin base (V2)
Radio drama has and a little longer conversation with bigs and luke even more than in special edition -
R2 getting into position (V1)
There is a conversation with 3PO as he lets them know they will pair Luke with R2 for the fight … there is actually footage that can work here as R2 is raised and some that was an alternate angle of the bigs luke reunion scenes where you see R2 being put into position. -
Leia and 3PO watching the battle (V3)
There is more dialogue from radio drama with leia and 3PO by the radar bowl or a screen as they bounce through magnetic shield. This shows that 3PO is growing on leia. -
Gonk Droid in Death Star Hallway (V1)
Stormtroopers running in corridors during the Death Star battle. Will add once adywan 1080 is out. -
Extra Scenes in Final Battle (V2)
These are scenes to accommodate radio drama dialogue -
Before the ceremony (V3)
After battle is over and they are back at Yavin, there is more talk before the ceremony reflecting on those that died. This is prior to the doors opening and our heroes walking to the stage. - TBD if I will use.
