For all I know they're both the bad version too.

That makes extremely little sense, though. It sounds like you wanted to con Fox out of a second copy and they sent you a good disc, but you didn't know your first disc was defective, if it was at all. If both discs play fine for you, then what difference does it make at all if either one of them is the "defective" one?

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

I didn't try it on a standalone. I just want to know which is which right now.

Look, I've already explained this to you but you haven't bothered to use it. Do you really think that LucasFilm is continuing to produce and distribute defective discs? Look at the serial numbers - all discs contain these pressing numbers around the inner hub of the data surface of the disc. They won't be identical. Call and ask LucasFilm which is which.

I wrote about those 2 numbers that I found (normally written and mirror). If that's not them, where do I see the number on the inner hub of the data surface of the disc?

My bad. The printed number on the top of the disc is useless, it's only part of the s/n. There's what looks like a barcaode, then the s/n will appear further around, going by my AOTC disc, however different discs will have the s/n printed differently it is standard to have it on the OUTER part of the inner-hub on the surface side. You've already said they're different, so probably #8 is your fixed one, call Fox and ask.

I can't work out how you got so many numbers, the s/n is one continuous number seperated only by hyphens. It will start out looking the same as the printed number.

That's what was written near what looks like a barcode underneath the disc
