That change of plot structure would require a lot of cut dialogue and clever re arranging of certain shots all with new musical cues and transitions. It’s admirable that you all have thought about taking on the challenge. Very excited!

No, not yet. My first draft is exporting now. It will be in my revision. first draft has color correction trimmed scenes and trimmed dialogue. Second draft will hav all that plus moved Hosnian and other fixes.

I think on a technical basis you did a really great job. The transition into the Starkiller shots seemed to go well.
But in the end, the length of the Hosnian destruction really took away from the impact of Han’s death. Leia is now grieving over just an overwhelming amount of awfulness rather than Han himself. And by the time we get back to Chewie, that raw response he had is diminished immensely.
I’m not sure if this is something you can cut back and forth from to get back to Han’s situation more quickly. Or if you can just put the Hosnian destruction into another spot late in the movie like this in order to accomplish what you want.

You could track Battle of the Heroes on anything it would every time be epic. It also works with Conan the Barbarian score.
