 I beg to differ, it's one of the nicest looking LD transfers I've seen.

I remember seeing the stills posted above with the flaws, they probably even dissuaded me from checking this out earlier. I'm glad I finally decided to check it out, it looks great.

 Uhmm, yeah I'm not a big fan of the SE. Added grain often bugs me too. Those shots do look pretty amazing though.

I think What I like about your OUT 2.0 is your lack of additional processing / color correction. The lighter DVNR on the pal LD's probably helps too. Also the fact that you capture a really great image with your gear.

A transfer of the Technidisc using gear like yours with no processing or color correction would be awesome. I love the sharper film look it has, scratches and all. I also prefer the more vibrant color over the whiter slightly muted color of the other LD's / GOUT.

My favorite sources out there now are Puggo's 16mm and msycamore's Technidisc. For Star Wars a non DVNR film look just feels right to me.

looks good.but there are some mistakes in the german language and subs.

greedo subs has missing the word "her" in the line :

Jeder Kopfgeldjäger in der Galaxies wird hinter dir "her" sein...

and in the line : Vieleicht nimmt er sich nur das Schiff. should "das" switched with "dein"

at 29:14 one second of sound is missing.

at 1:05:10 the language isn´t sync to the movie.the language is 400ms to fast from the rest of the movie.

at 1:30:15 the line "Die Panzertür,Junge" (the blastdoor kid) is missing.

whats the source of the german language?

will you release empire and jedi too?

Now I think I'm seeing some of the misalignment. It is especially noticeable in the Tatooine desert scene where Obi-Wan meets up with Luke. The right edge of Ben's robe has very noticeable ghosting. It's really a bummer because this capture looks sooo good aside from that.

I guess that means it would look even better if it was in perfect alignment? Or is there something else going on here?

If anybody has OUT rules 1.0, could you check those scenes and see if it also has this ghosting?

Thanks for doing that Han Solo IRL. It doesn't look like it's a problem with OUT 1.0

Too bad he never got around to 2.1 because it really looks like he was on to something.

I don't know if ghosting is the right word for it? Here's a pic.

I might have to check out the OUT 1.0, it sounds like it has some different issues though? Maybe from the blending of the sources? I think he used only one source for the 2.0?
