Is there anywhere to download the most recent revisions of the 5.1 and 2.0 mixes for these on their own?

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.

If I am not mistaken your soundmix is used on despecialized edition.

I noticed in the trash compactor when han first shoots at the dianoga wrapped around Luke it’s out by about 4 frames.

I’don’t think it’s an issue with the original mix so I am thinking it’s an introduced synch issue?

I really like the soundmix though very nice what you have done.

It also seems to wobble out before han dives in the hatch to. I would look at that whole section of the corridor battle and garbage masher.

If it is an exact recreation then no problem but my feelings are it might just be a bit out here and there across this part or section but introduced somehow.

I can’t get the 5.1 mix to work on Star Wars 77, any advice?

Heya,

Doing a presentation and was wondering I anyone would have a short 2m extract available to download in 5.1 that can be opened into protools?

Great reading through this thread and how you have recreated the 6 channel version in 5.1

I’ve been researching and starting to collect original 70’s/80’s cinema audio equipment, I’m looking at trying to make an actual 6 track version of the sound track. I will probably be able to adapt it to work on 7.1 systems.

I have some ideas on how to seperate the channels from a stero recording.

Would anyone be able to help me get hold of the cinema recordings of the 70mm? The mp3’s that were availible are no longer active on this website:

http://www.wideanglecloseup.com/starwarsaudio.html

Does anyone have copies of them?

Were there any other sources of the 70mm sound track I could use?

I will probably start my own thread to show my method as I don’t want to high jack this one or detract from hairy_hen’s amazing work.

Thanks

JR
