Sony Vegas individual frames

Hi everyone,

Firstly let me introduce my self , I'm a 30yr old who love Star Wars and has a love for movies in general, I have never done any movie editing what so ever and thought I would never do any until I found this site and also listed to a guy called Adywan do a radio interview, so after browsing the site and listening to the interview I am hooked!! so to get me started in editing in general I thout it would be a good idea to make a few short Star Wars trailers to let me get the hang of editing and the use of Sony Vegas which at this time is the only editing software I have at my disposal!

My question is this, after I drag my footage into the timeline in Vegas I can only see 2 or 3 parts of the footage, how do I view every single frame of the footage in the timeline? I've googled and I cannot find an answer..

I hope someone can help me with this as I am eager to get started!

Hi Mouse

Haven't looked at Vegas very recently, but you should find that setting under Video Preferences - there should be a setting for 'Video Event Thumbnails' which can be set to 'all'.

There's a thread in the main Star Wars fan edits section for trailers - be sure to give us a look when you've put something together!

Many thanks for the info guys, I feel very stupid now lol, I'm just getting Key framing under my belt now and trying to figure out what would work in a trailer I thought of a really good intro but then looked around and Adywan had already done it! back to the drawing board I go..
