Hello all, I have just started work on a solo edit. I will have a cutlist and some clips soon but I wanted to first share the color correction I have done for the film. I tried giving it a more “vintage” look. Makes it more “technicolor” Please let me know what you think of the color! (Also spoilers in the pictures, you have been warned)

I am quite intrigued by this.
I will post a cut list soon. Still working on this. I am aiming to make it less “cringe” remove any forced humor, remove the wookie subtitles, cut down L3 and more.
The correction is an improvement, but it’s still too weak.
I’d go with something more in line with the 35mm colors.
For the Falcon’s cockpit, something like this:

It’s still quite dark and noisy, but the colors have more punch.

I have cut chewie falling from the train heist. Here is that clip with a color comparison! left is the original unedited color and right is my new color correction!
The color balance is much better!

where can i watch this?
Does anyone have colour corrected the deleted scenes in that way? I’ve tried to do them, but it was crap… I’ll be appreciated if someone done it and send me a link of them 😁
