Sock Admittance — Page 3

Yeah, I know, but I'll be honest, I actually typed a single swear word.  Now that might seem silly, but I've always tried to be a good example of my faith here, so I deliberately swore so as to throw off any suspicion.  And then just recently, I told moth3r that I did it once and learned my lesson, but in reality I have done it twice, so even admitting that I did it again kind of makes me feel bad.  On the other hand, I really want to share it, so...give me a bit if no one guesses it, and I'll probably work up the courage to admit it.

I'd admit to the sock accounts I had awhile back, but I already admitted to them  awhile back.

Well, the newbies here (like me) don't know what they were...

search the forum or ask one of the oldies.   Just so it is known, I am still very ashamed of what I did under those accounts.

I'm not desperate to find out your sock accounts, but I have a stupid question. How do you search the forum? I don't see any search boxes of any kind anywhere. Again, I just want to know for future reference.

I thought twooffour used multiple swear words. darth_ender says he used a single swear word so that rules out anyone who used a lot of swears.

I tried to create a sock by the name of Bizarro Ric two years ago or so, but I must have mistyped the e-mail address 'cause I never received an e-mail to activate the account, therefore Bizarro Ric never came to be (much to my shameful chagrin).

As for socks I succeeded in creating ... let's just say that while I won't say I was EnergizerDuracell, I won't say that I wasn't him, either.

Yeah, I'm creating more drama than I intended, but at the same time I have wanted to get it off my chest.  I genuinely am embarrassed by it, but since I brought it up, I should go ahead and confess....

Gosh, rereading it, I was even worse than I realized.  Again, I was deliberately acting out of character, especially since I thought Frink was on to me a bit.  I even ignored my darth_ender self (which is now permanent, since that self is banned).  I apologize, not only for the sock account, but for the bad example I was there.  I really am sorry.

But Ric's already dead! I thought you cared about that guy. Also, make sure Cookie Monster doesn't eat you first.

Except that he ignored all of us and then got banned, leaving "blowfish" forever on our lists. Very hurtful for those of us with OCD tendencies ;)

 *looks at the date the thread was made* April 4 . . .  hmmm . . . could its proximity to April 1 have played a part in your decision to create the sock?
