As you may or may not know, today is the 27th anniversary of the one-time airing of The Star Wars Holiday Special, which aired Friday, November 17, 1978 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST. So, in commemoration of the day, who’s gonna get out a copy, set down, and watch the entire hour and a half special?

A Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Elf
And Reservoir Dogs has become a Christmas movie for me because a TV station here in Toronto (Showcase) used to play it every Christmas Eve, for what ever reason. Now it is a holiday favorite of mine. Go figure.

Talk about a sick feeling! That movie is one of the most horrible holiday movies I can imagine! I much prefer the holiday special over it any day! And, AAHHHHHH!!! TBS's 24 hours of A Christmas Story!!!!

A Christmas Story is one of the best holiday movies of all time. I have to watch that at least once during the 24 hour marathon on TBS. That, and 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', and Rudolph are the best.

Personally, I can't watch movies on TBS. They are too butchered and full of commercials.

And I agree that A Christmas Story is one of the best.
