So how many times did you actually see Sith — Page 2

Saw it opening night in our town of 5000. Complete with the guy dressed up in Jedi robes and the kids waving their toy lightsabers.

I haven't had good experiences seeing Star Wars at the movies. While seeing AOTC, I had a loudmouth behind me that yacked throughout the entire film ("Oh, COME on." "What a bunch of @#$#%").

During ROTS, I had a group of...teenage girls behind me. Giggle giggle giggle...

I wasn't impressed. I spent $6 or $8 or whatever it cost to watch the movie, not listen to live commentary.

It was better when I went to see it a second time.

“Back when we made Star Wars, we just couldn’t make Palpatine as evil as we intended. Now, thanks to the miracles of technology, it is finally possible. Finally, I’ve created the movies that I originally imagined.” -George Lucas on the 2007 Extra Extra Special HD-DVD Edition

I fell to the dark side once. I wish I could have been stronger.

That's one of my pet peeves. I've pretty much stopped going to movies on Fri or Sat nights now because I always encounter a bad situation. Last time at War of the Worlds some jackass kept putting his feet on the back of my chair after I repeatedly asked him to put them down. Cell phones, alarms going off all the time as well. It seems everytime I go to a movie at night there's some situation (at this particular theater I like to go to) so I've just decided I'll only go to matinee showings on the weekend for most movies (I'll probably see Serenity on Fri night however when it opens up).

Back on topic, I went twice to the theaters to see the Sith. The 1st one was the midnight showing which they showed on 13 screens and there had to be 1000 people there (in Boca Raton). Didn't have a problem at all there (besides the screening not starting till 12:45am), but I atest all that to the Star Wars fans in the theater. It didn't match my AOTC experience, which I saw the midnight showing as well. That will probably be the best movie experience of my life. It made the movie better. The next time I saw Sith was at the digital screen in Boston. That was pretty cool, but I thought I saw more of an a difference in Clones then I did see the Sith. Like JangoxFett, once it's released on DVD I'll probably see it over and over.

I saw it once and i'm sad i will not get to see what happens to han luke and leia from george's perspective since theres no 7-9 . I would pay even just to see an episode 7 movie that would be kind of a reunion of the original cast, that could at least end cap the series or show just hamill as an aging jedi master who pases on the torch to the next generation of jedi knights. I always thought if the sequel trilogy was made it would be a really neat idea if luke had a son who turned to the dark side and luke would have to try to bring him back from the brink, instead of the son saving the father, the father would save the son. It would be about the sins of anakin skywalker being revisited by his grandson.

“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.

Just saw it twice, once a few days after it came out and then again with my Dad during that Father's Day weekend.
