So how many times did you actually see Sith

So just home many times did we pay homage to the theater to see the last star wars movie? What was your experince? Somes head right in your view or did you sit next to someone that makes to much noise?

I only saw it twice. My first time I saw it was in Spain. I left for a Europe Trip just two days before the US release and did not get to see it until almost two and a half weeks later. It was in English with Spanish subtitles. I am sorry to say that their theaters were horrible... Assigned seating and small screen size. I have seen TV's bigger than this screen. ... No offense to Barcelona, Spain, beautiful city crappy theaters. Then I saw it in the states in a THX Theater one weekend and it was packed! I was 4 rows from the front. I have not seen it since, because of other summer movies like Batman and War of the Worlds. So I am kind of sad with my Theater experience with ROTS. So I am looking forward to the DVD release needless to say.

i'm at 3 times as well...i'm hoping i can squeeze in one more at a budget show or some lingering engagement but i doubt it.

all 3 experiences were good...my fave was at the arclight cinerama dome here in Hollywood, where we sat in like the fourth row and the massive digital image engulfed us. it was rad.

two times. I enjoyed it but if I go in to see it again, I'll start breaking it down in the back of my mind simply because I'm in the business.

3 times, the first one(the midnight show) was probably my best theater experience ever. I saw it again at that theater and yet again at my local theater(crappy sound, picture, and unenthusiastic people).

Twice. Both times at the same theatre.

Only seen it once. Every time I go to the theater to see it again, I end up seeing Batman Begins again (which I have now seen 4 times, damn that's a good movie).

Me neither, but I guess that's a discussion for another thread.

Seen it once at the midnight opener. Wanted to see it again, but never found the time. C'est la vie. I did like it, though.

The first time was at midnight screening, it was more fun to be with my friends and waiting with them than the film itself. The movie theater was TOO packed and the temperature could have been cooler and the sound louder. The second time was the next saturday, with my brother, which is not a SW fan, in fact he dislikes it, and the only character he likes is the alien next to Lando on the MF on ROTJ . The place was packed, and it was fun because I almost never hang out with my brother, I was glad to be with him. The third time was at a THX place next to where I used to work, about 3 or 4 weeks later. I went alone, and the theater was pretty much empty, there were about 50 people there, half of them by themselves. It was probably the last time I ever saw the STAR WARS opening title scene in a movie theater, so I got a bit depressed after the movie began. The sound was great but was oscilating at the end, so I'll send a message to the THX guys and tell them there was something "distracting the presentation" as they ask me to do.

Only seen it once, at the London Midnight show. I've been waiting for a friend to sort me out a 'home viewing' copy, but he's taking his sweet time. I may as well just wait till November.

Looks like 6 times in the theater is the most on this thread so far. I guess there is an honorable mention of 12 times but that was with a home copy. Looks like star wars will be the number 1 movie this year so far. Batman and War of the Worlds have only done around 200 million dollars in Box office sales

I totally agree. I saw it twice, and the second time was very disappointing because I started picking out all the things that were wrong with it. Now, since that's the most recent viewing I've had of it, that's what sticks in my mind, rather than the first time I saw it when I actually enjoyed it.

2 times for me. IMO going to the Movies is just too Expensive. From Nov 2 on... I plan to play the DVD many times.
With Home Systems getting Better all the time IMO its better (with some Films) to just wait and buy the DVD.
There's a good chance that Fox (now on the side of Blue-Ray DVD) and LFL we may see Hi-Def Star Wars DVDs in 1080i or Better Soon!

I've seen it twice; the second time I was RIGHT infront of the friggin' screen (because my family apparently can't distinguish between "near the front" and "AT the front' *sigh*) and I didn't enjoy the neckstrain very much.
