I read some rubbish review where this guy who i swear must be a tfn poster claims episode 1 was considered to be better than Jedi until the episode 1 bashing began.

If I was 13 in 1999 I might have understood that opinion more.
I have never been more angered by a film than TPM but that was probably because I had to wait 16 years for it to be that crap.
If I had only waited three years I might have been less miffed.
