That is excellent news.  Sorry you've been unwell, but it's good that you're back in business.

My 9 year old daughter received her Green Belt in Tae Kwon Do last night.  I am so very proud of her.  She and the other kids worked very hard and stayed enthusiastic through testing.

To top it off, she tells me she's a computer nerd like her dad.

Tomorrow morning I climb in cab of the 14' U-Haul truck I packed all day today and begin my one-way trip east, moving from Chicago to New Jersey. I've been in a long-distance relationship for the past 2 years, and it's finally coming to an end. The distance, not the relationship. :) I took a great job out there with a company where I can build a serious career, and that job starts on April 14. A lot of big, sort of scary, changes. I'm feeling a lot of different things right now. Been saying goodbye to friends and family for the last week. Leaving a lot of people behind, but what's waiting for me at the other end is worth it.

Actually I've finished 10 of them, but that's the only one I've uploaded.  Most of you guys probably won't like it, but I thought I would share anyway just in case.  All the guitars are me.  The rest is programmed.

I managed to get my sourdough bread to work after a couple of bricks (which I felt obliged to eat).

I can now make bread with locally milled flour from yeast drawn from the air in my kitchen and eat jam made from blackberries I picked around the corner.

I wish I had room for a bee hive so I wouldn't need sugar in that jam and could eat local honey as an alternative.

ITS A BLACK TOY POODLE!!!!!!!!

We just adopted a cute litte black toy poodle!   We got him from an animal shelter which rescued him from somewhere in North Carolina.   We don't know much They estimate that he is about 3 years old.  He has had all his shots and has been neutered and microshiped.  He seems to be in good health.  He seems nice, well behaved and friendly.    We like him very much.    Its good to have a dog again!
