I don't know. I'm not saying it wasn't inspired by Christ, but crucifixion was a pretty common form of execution, not just exclusive to Jesus. At least, that's what I try to tell myself.

Why wouldn't it? Anime literally means animation, and CG animation is still animation. And, in American culture, anime means Japanese animation, and it's definitely Japanese. I see no problem. I want to see more. ^_^
