SHELLEY WAS JAMES'S FIANCE WHO WAS HIT AND KILLED BY A DRUNK DRIVE JUST THREE DAYS BEFORE THEY WERE TO BE MARRIED. THE CROW WAS HIS 10 YEAR THERAPY OVER HER DEATH. IN FACT, HE BASED "SHELLEY" IN THE BOOK ON HIS REAL LIFE SHELLEY.

I caught the reference to Shelley from the movie, I just had no idea about the real-life aspect of it all.

Crow 2 was the only time I've walked out of the theater in the middle of a movie. And sadly enough, I was so pumped up about it when it came out that I talked about 10 friends into going with me to see it.

That was a weird ride home.

I can imagine, I had that happen to me before.

I never walked out on a movie before, but I did turn off the DVD player for "The Mummy Returns". After 45 minutes I just pressed stoped, put the DVD back on the videostore case and went there to return it.

I walked out of Kill Bill right after the loopy girl killed the guy with bad teeth for liking Ferraris or whatever it was.

Played TimeCrisis II and had a lot more fun.

I never walk out of a movie, so I had the misfortune of seeing The Mummy Returns all the way to the end. I also sat all the way through Suburban Commando starring Hulk Hogan. However, I did switch off Scooby Doo the movie and Van Helsing.

LOL - oh well I guess you don't like Tarantino after all or japanese men with bad teeth...

Time Crisis 2 is my favorite carcade shooter of all, but it's only good to play it with another person.

De Niro and Scorsese Discuss 'Taxi Driver' Sequel
Screen legend Robert De Niro has reunited with iconic director Martin Scorsese to work on a sequel to their classic movie Taxi Driver. The Oscar-winning actor, who starred as disturbed Vietnam veteran Travis Bickle in the 1976 film, has confirmed the movie veterans are mulling over script ideas for a follow-up to the gritty original. Apart from his comedy turn in Meet The Parents and its recent sequel Meet The Fockers, De Niro has starred in a series of flop films - and critics are hoping Travis Bickle's resurrection will restore his reputation as one of the greatest dramatic actors of all time. De Niro, 61, says, "I was talking with Martin Scorsese about doing what I guess you'd call a sequel to Taxi Driver, where he is older."

Weird. I remember reading that DeNiro wouldn't like to reprise this role.

Man, he makes a ton of crap films (has anyone seen that one about the clone kid - can't remember what it was called but I couldn't believe it was DeNiro in that shit. It was bad) then he thinks he can just do a sequel to one of his best movies and it will all be ok. Man oh man. This better not happen.

That film was 'Godsend', and you're right, it was a bag of shit!

Talking of sequels, anyone seen Ring 2 yet?

I like the fisrt Ring. That was a proper good spooky type film. I'm hoping the next one will be as good!

And has anyone seen the original Japanese version of the Ring? I have and I prefered the US version. Much more depth and story!
And it's very hard to read all the subtitles and watch whats going on. And man the Japanese speak fast, I now understand why theres so much dialog in translated Jap cartoons. They have to fill the gaps. "dhggsbfksiufbb hfwhfkj hfiwhfiushf uhfiuwhf nfuoishf fhsfhs " translated in English is "Hi".

Nevermind

No offense by the way!

Ring 2 is still in preproduction or maybe it's moved on to the production phase. Either way, it's not available to watch yet.

I read the book The Ring and watched the U.S. version of the film. Sorry, both bored me to tears and I have no comprehension whatsoever as to why it was so popular. And even less comprehension about why they are making a sequel.

Yes, Problem Child 2 should never have been made. Arguably the same goes for the original.

I think we did some time ago. I don't know if we want to go back to that. It's a big can of worms. Let's keep ranting against sequels for now. We can change our minds later.

Yeah, the movies That Should have Never Been would be much larger than the Sequels anyway.
