Stallone Promises Fans a 'Rambo IV'
Sylvester Stallone has promised fans of his Rambo franchise they can expect another installment of the all-action series - even though he's nearly 60. Stallone, who is currently 58 years old, is holding talks with movie bosses about resurrecting the 80s blockbusters, which centered on a violent, disillusioned Vietnam veteran. He says, "We're in the kitchen and we're cooking. I've had meetings about this and it looks good. We'll see what we come up with."

And he's doing Rocky VI!?!?! When will the madness end?!?!?!
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia'."

Off that list, I've seen:

- Parts of PA: Mission to Moscow (on TV)
- Parts of PA: City Under Siege (on TV)
- 2001: A Space Travesty (on TV)
- Parts of Street Fighter (on TV)
- Barbwire (on TV)
- Parts of Jaws 3D (on TV)
- Superman IV (I actually saw that in the theater)
- Mr. Magoo (rented video)

I enjoy Leslie Neilsen comedies, so 2001 and Mr. Magoo weren't so bad.

Wow, i just went back through and i think ive actually seen about 30 of them.

All of these were seen on TV except 1.

now i should say that im 99% sure ive seen these all, except the ones with asteriks, which im either 70-80% sure of seeing, I watched them while doing other stuff (ie were on in the background as i worked on my computer), or im only sure of seeing part of. Some of these were watched out of sheer boardom and nothing else being on the tv. I also have smokey and hte bandit but only because i got it in the 3 pack with the 1st and second which i bought because my dvd of the first was giving me some trouble and it was like $4 different or something extremely cheap to get that set instead of just the first one again, but ive only seen the first one and part of the second (didnt even know there was a third until i got this set)

21 - Police Academy: Mission to Moscow
25 - Kazaam
38 - Jaws: The Revenge
44 - Steel
47 - Rollerball
49 - Teen Wolf Too*
51 - Police Academy 5: Assignment: Miami Beach
53 - Captain America
54 - Mannequin: On The Move
55 - Ringmaster
56 - The Master of Disguise
61 - Mortal Kombat: Annihilation
64 - Problem Child 2
66 - Street Fighter
68 - Cop and a half
70 - Mighty Morphin Power Ranges: The Movie
72 - Barb Wire*
74 - Stop! Or My Mome Will Shoot
78 - RoboCop 3
84 - Iron Eagle II*
86 - Derailed
87 - FearDotCom*
89 - Superman IV: The Quest For Peace

from IMDB:

Leslie Nielsen once again plays a bumbling detective in the vein of the 'Naked Gun' movies, but this time as Marshall Richard 'Dick' Dix. When odd reports are received through official channels stating that the President of the United States is being held captive on a secret international moon base called Vegan and that he has been replaced on Earth by a clone, the US Marshall Service immediately sends their 'best' man, Dix, on the mission. Dix travels to Vegan to rescue the president, but is quickly duped and ends up returning to Earth where he installs the clone-president and removes the real one. The bumbling Dix must then find a way to restore the real president before aliens take over the Earth, and restore in himself a belief in truth, justice and the American way.

Other Sequels that shoud not have been(IMHO):

Godfather3

Die Hard3
The StingII
this may or may not be considered a sequel: Supergirl.

All Pink Panther movies that do not star Peter Sellars
Superman 3 and 4

The fact that Baby Geniuses got a sequel is quite beyond my capacity.

Also, why does everyone hate Superman IV? I thought the Supermen were examples of Superhero movies done right...

The history of the Superman movies is spotty @ best. The first film is an undeniable classic, the second is passable (some people actually prefer it to the first, but they're all smoking crack), the 3rd is a joke (Richard Pryor? You gotta be kidding me!), and the 4th is an abomination.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Am I understanding you? Did you actual say that Rocky 4 was the best of the Rocky films?

The first Rocky is clearly the best. The others aren't even close.

Superman II is just passable? Its not as good as the original but, its better than passable.
