Cool artwork! Is that the cover by bunnydojo from the thread you made at DVDTalk? In case anyone didn't know, he's a rather highly respected artist in the custom dvd cover scene.

Update:

Disc one is completely done. I'll start working on the "extras" disc and should be done by this coming weekend. Hopefully I can get permission to start seeding it!! If any of you have an "in" with the mods on myspleen, put in a good word for me

Sorry for the delay in all this. This is my very first time making menus and such so I'm learning as I go. The ones on this first disc are pretty primitive but they work. And it's a full motion menu with music. Hope you enjoy!

If you can't do it at myspleen, you can try demonoid. I believe anyone can upload a torrent there.

Thanks a lot guys. I was starting with myspleen since "they" are the ones who've helped me out so much in the past with star wars stuff but their rules about seeding can be strict. We'll see how I make out there and if not, I'll just have to go somewhere else. Can those other sites link to the torrent if I start on Myspleen? I really hope you guys enjoy it.

I'm going to see how much room is left on disc 2 as well. I might add the entire score soundtrack as a bonus "audio only" feature.

Disc one is completely done.

Question: should i torrent these separately or in one torrent? I can't imagine someone wanting one disc and not the other. I should be done with disc 2 in the next couple of days. What do you guys prefer?

Sorry for the delay in all of this. I've been working on far too many projects at once. Have some music DVD's plus the ones for here...plus a few that are just for my personal collection.

I would do both discs at once. That way one disc will not fizzle out.

Myspleen. I'm going to try and finish disc 2 tonight.

Is there a chance of this being uploaded to any of the newsgroups? For some reason BitTorrent goes at a Snails pace for me. Even though I have a 3mb connection I get pretty low speeds (And yes I've tried everything). I'll give this a go on myspleen first though, see what happens.

I wouldn't be able to do it because that whole newsgroup thing screws me up. If someone else wants to post it there, I'm sure it's going to get passed around a lot.

In other news, I'm almost done making "snapshots" of all the various stills on the set. There are so many hundreds of them that it's taking some more time. They will be on the finished product as a slideshow.

Just an update:

a "demo" version of the second disc was made last night. Have to do some tweaking to the things that I think could be better. It will now include the entire movie score as a bonus as well. Just want to put some pictures up while the score is playing. Should finally be completely done tonight!!

Yes I'd LOVE to get a copy of this! I bought the laserdisc to do a similar project but you beat me to it. Everything looks awesome so far. Let me know how I can obtain a copy! Thanks!

The update is that I'm going to get it out this weekend if it kills me. I kept having a problem with it that I fixed late last night..but too late to author the final disc for disc 1. the menus for disc two turned out so good that I decided to do disc 1 over again. The person who did the artwork for the set actually made backgrounds for the menus screens for me.
Sorry if I'm being anal about this project but hopefully everything I learn on this one will help the others to come along more quickly. Plus i'd rather get out something that I'm completely happy with rather than always being annoyed at certain things.
Rest assured, you will be the first to know when it's done.

I would assume that this set and two of my Indiana Jones discs will be up this weekend.

Ladies and gentlemen...

...it is done.

Im' still seeding the two Indy discs but as soon as one of them is done, I'm going to start seeding the Se7en set. I will put the two discs together so it might take a while to download but they will definitely be there!
