Has anyone bought the Saving Private Ryan blu ray disc and noticed any lip sync problems ?, i watched the movie and from around the two hour mark , chapter 15 onwards the disc suffers from sync issues . Did anyone else notice this problem with their disc ? im using a Sony BDPS-350 but i cant be sure if its the disc or the player. Anyone else having a problem ?.
I don't have the disk yet, but I just checked http://www.blu-ray.com/, and multiple people including the reviewer have reported lip-sync issues. Some say its less noticeable in some players than others, it seems to be happening more often with the British release than the America. All seem to agree it starts around chapter 15, but some say the issue on lasts for about 30 seconds and some say it lasts for the rest of the movie.
I was going to ask for this blu-ray for my birthday, but now I will wait and see. Clearly, Paramount needs to find out exactly what is going here.
