Last year I came across all 6 films dubbed in German and they've been a blast to watch (I also have the Indiana Jones films in German - FUN).
Besides the R1 disc with English, Spanish and French, what other languages have they been dubbed in for home video/DVD? I'm more concerned with the original trilogy than the prequels (although it is fun to see if Hayden's acting is better with a different voice actor - so far the Spanish dub is best for that).
I'd LOVE to see the OT in Japanese or Russian. And if anyone has copies of these I could make it worth your while. Thanks!

Personally I cannot stand movies dubbed in another language (except animated movies). I want the original language. In the Netherlands we always have subtitles. When other countries started dubbing series and movies a long time ago it was finacially not doable in the Netherlands because we are too small a country. So we got subtitles instead. Thank God for that.
I had a Star Wars trilogy bootleg with a chinese dub.
“Always loved Vader’s wordless self sacrifice. Another shitty, clueless, revision like Greedo and young Anakin’s ghost. What a fucking shame.” -Simon Pegg.
This topic pops up from time to time, i'd love to hear all the versions as well, add them to the isolated score fan preservation DVD. At some point parts of the japanese dub of the prequels circulated and Obi-wan sounded like he might have been.
As for Russian dubbing -- there's two dubbed versions of Star Wars: 1. A very well done Soviet dubbing shown in USSR theaters back in the late 80's. 2. A made-for-TV dubbing (and I mean dubbing, not a voiceover) done by ORT TV-channel in 2005 (along with ESB and ROTJ) as part of the ROTS promotion. Pretty lame for my tastes -- poor acting and questionable translation work.
Original Star Wars dubbing is almost impossible to find now, and those few collectors who own it on film do not want to share.
ORT-dubbing of OT SE 04 can be easily found via Internet.
