SW Saga in 20 Minutes - Show in London

Lucas has given permission for a 20 minute version all 6 Star Wars movies to be performed by a London, England based theatre. It is supposed to have all major plot points. Reading the article, they are known for their shortened versions of Shakespeare as well as other things. Might be an improvement in some of the prequel stuff. I thought it sounded interesting.

Hmmm, I really enjoyed the one-man show "Star Wars in 30 Minutes" - a great comic performance of the original trilogy. But I don't know if the pace required to do all 6 in less time would be too manic for fun.

Oh well, unless they come to LA from the UK, I'll never know.

And of course, it will be in the "intended order". Bleh. But it would be interesting to see regardless.

Seeing as how it's the UK, I wonder if the Jango/Obi-Wan headbutt will be censored. ^_~

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

According to the article this is being recorded and will be broadcast at the end of August. I'll tell some people back home to keep an eye on the TV listings and record this when it airs. I've seen the reduced Shakespeare company and they are very entertaining. I'm sure that we will get a kick out of this (especially as we already know the story).

I missed the part about it being on TV. Maybe Babyhum or someone in the UK can capture this and preserve it on DVD.
