Well you can definitely hear a difference in tone in his voice, but even more importantly, why would Sidious tell Cody to kill every single Jedi? His main target would only be his Jedi General.
It works up until the word Jedi (originally being "six") And his exaggeratory way of mouthing it doesn't help matters either.
How about just stopping after "the time has come"?
To which Cody would reply "it will be done my lord" or whatever the line is, as normal.

Well, while we the audience know that Obi is the only Jedi there. Sidious may not. Also this can be taken like a order from now on. From this point forward, execute every single Jedi.

Gonna try to get back to a once a week update as I keep editing. Stuff that I post will be things that I'll need opinions on. This week it's an edited scene of Anakin telling Mace that Palpatine is a Sith. The idea I went for is that less is more from Anakin. Just from his body language we can see his troubles.

Truth be told I never liked Mace's - "A sith Lord?" line
even if you removed the horrible "yeees the one we've been looking for!" line
I still wanna shout at the screen they've only known about him what 13 years or so by this point, its laughable just how bad this scene is, I would shave a few more lines off it so that Mace doesn't look like a complete muppet

I like the idea of removing the "order 66", but perhaps you could try Palpy saying only "The time has come..." Cody says "yes my Lord" then blasts Kenobi. This would make it appear that there is an aprior arrangement between Palpy and the Clone Commanders.
Out of all the things wrong with Episode III, I was never really that bothered by order 66. What's the problem with it?
You know of the rebellion against the Empire?
i never liked order 66. it always felt a bit contrived. would it work if the clones zapped kenobi, and the whole sequence played out without the order being seen, so as if from the jedi's perspective?
To me the "order 66" always was a signal that transforms the clones into puppet soldiers. It was programed in their DNA or whatever.
Without order 66 why would all the clones suddenly switch evil? Just because Palpy say so? Mmm I doubt that.
The only trouble is that Order 66 must have already been named and the details of that order must have already been known. They should of had it called Operation: *Insert evil name here* sort of thing. Maybe something called Operation: Starkiller, a kind of recycling but also a nod to the originals, original script lol.
but do we actually need to see the order being given? its delivery was not exactly the strongest part of the film. its ridiculous to think palpatine actually addresses each commander individually.
It would be interesting if it was some sort of audio signal (some sort of sound effect rather than an order) that bounced from headset to headset triggering the hidden psi-programming.
but isn't over-explanation what clogs up the PT? from AOTC we should have the impression something fishy is going on with the clones.
While I agree that everything does not need an explanation, I think the clones sundenly turning to "Empire mode" deserves one. The order 66 is all what Lucas found because he lost so much screen time in the 2 previous movies that he rushed the third movie. So I think keeping order 66 (or some sort of signal that would turn instantly all troops to "Empire mode") would be the lesser of two evil because we just can't have the clones fithing along with the Jedi for years sundenly turning against them only because Palp says so, IMO.
Ok, unless I can find a way to improve on the Order 66 idea, I'll be leaving it as it was originally. It was pretty much something I stumbled onto, and I thought it worked nice. So I tossed it up here to get opinions.
Now I need to get some feedback on the Anakin Mace clip if I can. Just trying to get an idea of how It works for everyone.

Yeah, the eyes should be yellowish orange, these are just tests to see if I can do whats needed for later use in the film. BTW I started the prune morph trials. This first test only took a hour, so please dont mind the sloppiness, I'm figuring it out as I go. And stuff like this will be smoothed out later. This ones for Bingo.

maybe just yellow out the eyes for the "are you threatening me master jedi?"and leave the morph to sidious for the "I am the senate!" line
I think it might have more punch with his voice change

Perhaps it would work better in the "So it's treason then" bit just before the lights go wonky (leaving us briefly with a pair of glowing eyes).
It would give the audience a "did I just see that?" moment.
It looks grand though.
@ Bingo, well to be honest I'm not totally sure that he will change in this scene, this was just a test to see if it can be done. Tho it might end up being exactly how BarBar and you have stated. I would be a nice time to have this come across, but I have to think about the rest of the dual scene. It will be dark, but in alot more shots I would have to apply this effect. Shots that are very heavy in Special FX already.

Bobgarcia, the effect is VERY nice! I would just suggest that once you start to use it, it should "stay on". Once Palpatine realizes he's been found out, he should let his illusion down once and for all.

It works.... It even looks like he's saying it. But, honestly I never had a problem with order 66 in the first place.
I'm glad you have given the Palp change a try though because I haven't seen it done by anyone else before and does take that face shape away from the stupid explanation that Lucas gave us but I well understand if it isn't for you.
If you decide not to use the idea it may make sense for one of us to post your video on the Prequel Radical Redux thread so that if it does appeal to a future editor they can take it the torch from where you have already made a bold start.

For sure it will be used Bingo, I'm just trying to make sure that it gets used at the best time. "I am the senate" seems like the best spot. It's not a full blown action shot where it might get lost if you blink.
It also makes perfect sense for him to change at this moment. The anger rising, that fact that he's about to do some major Jedi ass kicking and he's been discovered, so there's no reason to hide now.
Enough of keeping my powers and appearence hidden, Sith Powers Activate!
I'll be fixing it tonight to the following.
Are you threatening me line = Yellow eyes slowly fade in.
I am the senate = The face now changes.
Mace responds, then The lights drop out as Palpatine rises.
I tryed changing the "It's treason then" line to "So be it, jedi" reworked to match the tone of "I am the senate". But I dont think it will be done that way in the final version. But it does sound pretty damn cool with the lights off, right before the red saber goes on.
