Wow! Exactly what I'd like to do if I ever reach ROTS. How did you recolour the lightning on the staffs?

First thing, thanks for the kind words.
The reason for the switch in the lines was because originaly the conversation starts on a high note, goes bad in the middle , and finishes on a typical high note while they hug. The way it is originaly, nothing other than the fact that Padme's pregnant comes from this conversation. We already know they have a forbidden love thing going on. So originaly this scene is a big waste of time.
The way I edited it, It starts on a bad note. (Anakins reaction to the baby). So now the high note in the middle doesn't seem so high at all. (Them discussing what there gonna do, and Anakin tossing all there worries aside.) And then the whole scene ends on a real bad note, (Anakin letting his lust get the best of him, even after all they just talked about. And Padme having to back him off of her.) Better for this conversation to end bad, leaving questions about these two.
So the way its edited now gives us more insite to the fact that Anakin is slowly gaining more Dark Side thoughts after his ordeal on the Invisible Hand. Selfishness, lust. He hears what he wants, and blocks out the bad.
More character development the way I did it. Least thats what I think. 8)
And btw snicket, I love the flares, looking good.
Thanks so much for your take on this scene! :D
After reading your thoughts and rewatching the scene I think I agree with you on this move. (not that you need my approval lol)
I think my original concern was that the baby gets lost in the converstaion...but I don't know if it's really a bad thing...it's not like we as the audience forget about the baby! ;)

Thanks for the reply SSWR
Yeah, the baby getting lost wasnt too much of a concern as the baby topic pops right back up like 2 minutes later after Anakin awakes from his vision. I cut that next conversation pretty well. But the baby is mentioned again. Now with alot more concern of course.

An update. Last one for awhile. Gonna be buckling down and getting as much of this done as possible. Took a few days break and ready to get back too it.

You could take some good lines from the TV show for grievous if you need them. The voice is exactly the same, and he actually has better dialogue there... I like that Grievous uses lots of bad guy one liners like "Make him suffer" or "You loose!".
I also like that Obi-Wan and Grievous have the usual relationship between a comic hero and a comic villain. They know each other, they have fought many times, and Obi Wan always manages to make fun coments about him (similar to Spiderman vs Dr Octopus, for example)
I think there should be more references to that old relationship between them. Saying lines like "we meet again, and for the last time", not having that shot of Obi-Wan surprised about his 4 arms, and things like that. That would make Grievous a character in Obi-Wan's life, not just a plot element for the first half part of the movie.
That would explain why they send Obi-Wan to kill him. That would make Grievous a better character, more than just "Hey, i know you killed the bad guy but there is another NEW bad guy you now have to kill". Its a cheat, but making Obi-Wan and Grievous know each other very well makes Grievous not be "The new guy nobody cares about".
About the colour, I like the use of red all around (Lightsabers, staffs, control panels)... maybe i think red is already too used for "Bad Guy", but actually for THIS shot, makes the color composition more appealing.
But beware... there are still some green and blue reflections on Grievous on that shot.
Good points sans_fi :D
Also exclusively in this edit: Padme's original death:
Dont believe in Lucas's Propaganda that she lost her will for life :)
Plus the blured windows concept:

I find this questionable at best.

By the way, i didnt mention this, but i truly love how you edited that whole conversation.
The first time i saw the movie, when he starts talking about how long they have been apart, he hasnt seen her for ages... she says "talking about that... im pregnant", wait, what? who?
The music flows perfectly with your new edit and I like how it ends with the Darth Vader's death theme.
Colgate again :)

Wow! That is truly remarkable!
You're doing an amazing job.
The lightsabers look good an all that, but isn't it the point that Grievous takes the lightsabers off the Jedi he's killed.....So shouldn't they stay blue/green?
Does look good tho, and looking forward to seeing the whole thing
IIRC he's removing the bit about Grievous stealing the lightsabers from the Jedi.
Yeah, the idea of Grievous collecting sabers off killed Jedi is being removed. Originally I loved that idea. It added some depth to Grievous's background. But as it's never really shown after the removal of the death of Shaak Ti, it's not needed.
I'm finding that with the character of Grievous (like most villains) less is far more. He's becoming more creepy by the minute.
I also feel the gains of the red saber visuals far outweighs the one line delivered by Grievous earlier in the film, which I planned on removing anyways.
Side note to sans_fi:
I've been doing alot of Clone Wars watching indeed. Only problem I'm having is deciding what lines to use. Cause there's alot of good stuff.

As again, better the the original. Do you plan to change Grevvius' death? Its annoying to see when Obi Wan torn G's chest plate, and the scene when the bastard moving like a spider.
Here's an idea.
Instead making the stuffs red too make them just white. Inspiring from mac's painting that the guards aka stormtroopers had white swords.
Also the location of the duel supposed to be a trade fed core ship. Since when these interiors became so colorful?
-Angel is Iron Man
I like that idea, but I think it makes the staffs look a tad bland. Perhaps add red stripes or something to the handles to spice them up a bit? That would take a lot of work on film, I suppose.
The concept picture shows the power of simplicity.
Compare it with the uber busy shot above teh color itself can help considerably make things...simple :)

Retro-ing the holos :)
No masks no nothing.
-Angel was able to build this mockup in a cave! - with a box of photoshop!
Wonderful stuff as always, vaderios.

On another note, am I alone in thinking the giant room in this scene is unbelievable looking?
The holograms look great. The staffs, I dunno. But the color is much better.
Holograms look awesome.
That clip does as well, TheOdo.
